Afghani reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Afghani.
This strain relaxes me but also, ironically, stresses me out. I don’t become paranoid but I do begin thinking about things that make my mind anxious. For example I was eating dinner and began thinking about my fear of choking. I can go walking on this strain and listen to music and it is lovely. But sitting still with this strain is difficult. Its weird because I know it is used for anxiety but it mostly triggers mine. I do however sleep better in it so I smoke it right before I go to bed.
Strong but relaxing medicine, really works well for my sleep issues. I do prefer Indicas typically so no surprised I that I really enjoy this strain. This strain though is my go to for at night. Some people may try to steer you clear from it because it doesnt have that high THC amount however, it is a sleeper and you will feel it. Also, Afghani is great for nerve and muscle relief!
I've been slowly acclimating myself to indica's over the past couple of years after staying in the sativa camp for most of my stoner career. Afghani is one of the indica strains that has stuck out to me as it has a very unique taste/smell and heavy sedative effects. This is one of the most unique smelling flowers I've had; nothing smells quite like it. It's taste is predominantly earthy with just a tinge of menthol and sweetness in the background. I really can't compare it to anything else out there, other sweet, earthy strains are much more candy-like than this is. The bud is fluffy, fat and pale with some orange hairs. The heavy effects will creep up on you. It brings about a pronounced sense of meditative relaxation with just a hint of euphoria to keep you focus. This is a fantastic all around strain and I would highly recommend it for someone who needs something heavy but still relatively functional. This strain adds to my perception that some of the best cannabis strains in the world are what mother nature provided herself.
My Absolute Favorite and Most Effective!
Great strain and one of the first original strains of weed ever. The flower smells earthy but sweet not bitter. It seems to work excellent for pain, helps with sleep and seems to lead to a relaxed. Calm/happy strain.
I'm a newer user. I've been using cannabis now for just over 2 months. I've tried several different Indica CO2 cartridges, however I was able to get AFG in flower, so I figured I'd give it a try.
Holy crap - it smells vile and has a really odd taste. HOWEVER, the effects are better than anything I've tried. I tried Snow Monster (ended up dizzy), Lavender (tastes horrible), Forbidden Fruit (great taste and high but not as good as Afg).
While the smell is vile and the taste isn't that great, I will absolutely continue to get this as long as I can because the high is so "clean" and "effective".
I picked up a couple of pre-rolls and and eighth of loose flower at the local CuraLeaf in Bonita Springs, FL. This bud is very balanced, it has the relaxing, stress freeing qualities that you look for in an Indica strain. One unique quality for me at least was that this bud did not give me couch lock. It has helped me get a good nights sleep nonetheless.
This really helps if you suffer from insomnia. Unfortunately, I can't find this in WA state anymore. A few puffs from this and I'm in dreamland, I didn't get high from it, or any next day hangover. I wish I could find it around here again.
