Afghani reviews
Leafly isn’t populating it but this review is for a cross called Platinum Afghani. Grown by UpNorth Humboldt. Very strong very heady Indica high. Very fun. Nice solid couch lock strain. I’ve never had flower that has knocked me down like concentrates before. The amount of kief you get is amazing. Simply amazingly awesome iced out bud. Give it a try. It’s Afgani crossed with GMO. Two of my favorites combined for a definite power couple. Thanks UpNorth!
Harvested 8-14-24 by OI Processing Michigan, BRANDED: Higher Love. 25.75% ThC. WORLD CLASS CANNABIS. Skunky, strong smell, over-ripe citrus, dank sour, lemonish sour, some grape gas on nose. Large hard dense buds, glowing with rust red hairs, short cone, sparkling Inidica spades/shoulders. Speckled with army green terp postules. Light green flower with sparkling trichomes theoughout. Smooth dry smoke, zero hint of cough. Sweet, mouth watering, calm head rush. Some gas nose tingle, smooth waves of body rush. Wow floating euphoria, creative, strong and potent, pine taste and lemon rind. Smooth euphoria, blissful tingly euphoria, no eye pressure, bones are melting, pain relief wow, no couch lock.
It’s only a matter of time after the first toke. Like a ticking time bomb it hit me like a freight train. Boom, boom bed time.
I read some of the reviews and everyone seems to like this strain. It’s not overwhelmingly a couch locked buzz but the head buzz is smooth. I need pain relief. Not opioids. I use lyrics 3 times a day and I smoke when I take one. My pain doc is Canadian so he doesn’t care about my testing positive. He said he doesn’t test me for it. I have several pain blocks each quarter of the year. Doc is good with the needles. I smoke right before I go into the docs office. They have me half asleep and waiting my turn. I hit another one coming home. It’s nice and sweet, thx to my bud tender. She’s awesome!
The Taste? straight up Chai tea, like I taste cardamon, anise seeds, saffron steeped in ceylon tea and milk. Takes me back to my childhood. The Effects? I'm a daily smoker and this had me hella high with just a couple of puffs. I'll always stick to Landrace strains. I'm definitely going for this strain again.
sweet sleepy weed love it
as a chronic user for disabling pain and Ptsd, this strain has genuinely made it to the top of my list on 3 hits. there is nothing wrong with this strain. it doesn't make me cough, the flavor is like a smoky old friend, woody and gentle. I was stressed from a long work day and in lots of pain and I've melted into a relaxed pile of goo ready for sleep. and not the green out goo, just relaxed goo.
Incredible "original", non- hybridized strain that delivers a euphoric, pain-free and psychadelic experience.
This is one of the "true OG" strains used for hashish, and is a go- to for me now.
This strain delivers a Much cleaner high for me than most hybrids.
The taste is delightful - pine/woody flavor.
This is a great one to have in nature or mellow indoor environment, as the effects are best enjoyed where one can completely give in to the paychadelic/spiritual effects.
Great for listening to music, contemplating life, art, journaling, etc...
Review is based on the organic outdoor grown strain from Mayhew Organics (New Mexico). @mayhew
The mayhew is low THC (19%) but also low CBD. Comes on strong and full effects are present in 30 minutes for me.
Highly recommended.
