Durban Poison reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Durban Poison.
I came across this sativa when I was trolling for strains that don't smell that much because growing in a closet. One plant not a an op. Read about Dp and looked it up here to see what folks think. After the 3rd or 4th review saying '...then I cleaned my whole house' and that it gave a creative and clear-headed high, I was IN. So I got my seeds and I sprouted 1 and named her Pashy and I low-stressed her into a sort of circular bonzai and she gave me 2 big handfuls of sticky dense buds. From a closet with an led bulb.
Before she flowered I trimmed and saved everything and made cookies. What happens with edibles? Bodystoned and can hardly move and so on, right? Wrong. I put on my backpack, ran to the pool, swam for about 90 mins, ran home. Hahaha! I couldn't believe it. Usually I wouldn't have left the house if it was burning. Usually I don't even like edibles.
Vaping her is lovely. The taste is delicious and herby. I'm completely high but I can carry on an intelligent conversation without forgetting what it was I was saying. No paranoia, very important. Munchies can be quite terrible but come on, it's part of being high.
I can write, cook, sports, plan, make, on this. Not for sleeping!
And sure enough, at some point I'll find myself tidying or washing dishes and I'll remember I'm high and start laughing. It really does make you want to clean up.

I pre-ordered this strain for the first time 2 days before I developed a pinched nerve in my back. I have synthetic pain meds, but I hate taking them so I hit the pipe as soon as I got home. My back still hurts, but now instead of excruciating pain, I have a nagging ache which is a ton better than before. Very happy coincidence. Not loving the taste, but that's not what I buy it for. I highly recommend this strain.
Definitely I project high. The only down fall to this strain was getting a headache after the come down.
Not my fave.
Fun daytime.
Helps with pain! I suffer from cervical spinal stenosis. It causes chronic daily migraines, and muscle spasms, as well as neck, arm and back pain. I was not expecting any pain relief with this at all - I'm really surprised. I normally smoke indica's or hybrids for pain relief. But so far no strains have touched my spinal stenosis pain at all, until I tried Durban Poison. Y'all this is the 1st pain free day I've had in 8 months!! Anyone with chronic pain understands how amazing this is! So any other pain patients might want to try this.
It's also great for depression, fatigue and anxiety! No paranoia or anxiety side effects from this Durban Poison.
Beautiful buds! Rock hard. Smoke was so smooth I didn't even feel myself inhaling it. Prices are expensive but excellent product and it's the 2nd time I've been there.
This is the strain for me! I use to take Adderall or Vyvanxe to keep me focused and calm. After a lot of struggles, I now maintain a healthy recreational flower use, where I find Durban Poison to be the most helpful for my mental illness. With other practices and routines, I don’t need the pharmaceutical drugs I use to take that motivated me to get some reading or writing done. A hit or two of some good ol’ Durban Poison will do just the trick!
