OG Kush reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain OG Kush.
I feel like the effects of OG Kush don’t last as long. But while they’re lasting it’s amazing! It makes me feel like I’m on top of the world and no one can stop me
The one, the only. Often imitated but never duplicated, this has become notorious for good reason. So many guesses as to the lineage but imo id say something along the lines of Skunk (think RKS), Thai, Afghani (some type of hashplant?) or a mix of them. The full genetics we still don't know but Josh D and some others have come forward telling the tale of how she ended up in cali from florida and how it fell into the hands of b real and others in the hollywood circle in the late 90s (theogkushstory). OG does not mean ocean grown, if anything it means original but in the end it doesn't matter because it wont change what she is, its only a name. Whether its tahoe, ghost, sfv, hells angels, s.a.c , diablo, fire, legend, true, platinum etc. they are all some amazing genetics. Deep funky flavors of fuel, pine, redwoods, citrus, fresh tennis balls, wet dog, burnt popcorn, new rubber bands, and other weird thiols and terpene profiles are found here in great nuance. I believe this to be the reason, along with the high tolerance threshold, why the effects appeal to all sorts of people's endocannabinoid systems. (I use it mainly for anxiety and it absolutely helps with digestive issues) This remains a classic and even though i hope it stays that way, because she works so well it keeps a lot of us from trying something new, or even breeding with something new.
The greatest cannabis ever! If you can get a legit, properly grown/cured cut this will solve most ailments. It won't couch lock you unless you over do it. You only need a very tiny amount to medicate with this strain so beginners should use with extreme care do you don't go overboard. Just a really sweet hast potent bud that has me coughing like heck off of one hit, but that's all that is needed to get medicated for several hours.
Bodily, mindly, put me in a state of relaxed happy state, not really caring much about anything, also creative. Had that strong, slowly seeping Indica favor of coming up high and making me tired suddenly.
Pretty good for putting you to sleep.

Very powerful strain with a lot of flavor and am incredible smell. It's a slight creeper; leaving you feeling normal for the first couple minutes and then blindsiding you when you least expect it. That said, OG Kush is a very comfortable elevation into utter oblivion if you smoke enough (a good oblivion), and its effects leave you with no semblance of 'reality,' which is a plus for many symptoms, especially stress and depression. This strain is for those that like to get lost.
Make sure you eat a good meal beforehand, this strain is very powerful, and without proper nutrition and hydration, it will knock you out and leave you feeling dizzy and sick. That said, if you eat beforehand and drink a glass of water before toking, you will have a blast of comfort and an intense journey, as I've come to love of Indicas especially.

Is a creeper. Wasn’t really noticing it for a few mins, then bam! Your head is in a completely different place. Most noticeably impacts head and mental state. Feels like my brain’s been wiped, but there’s serenity in the absence. Difficult to concentrate and accomplish things. Strong mental euphoric calm that’s extremely comfortable and at peace with one’s self. It’s tranquil and considerably pleasurable. But, just as food needs a bitter/sour component for nuance and depth, here the physical high is tingling and racy. An edginess that’s almost in equal strength as the euphoria. Creates a diametrically complex experience. Not for the inexperienced. Solid, confident head space which is rare and nice.

Love this strain and its endless other strains it led way to. Put OG in the name and you have sold me.
Clocking in at THC 23.28%, CBD: 0.06%, I took the following notes:
- smells of sweet pine, with a spicy finish.
- dense and thick buds
- very smooth draw
- strong taste, like salty chocolate, and or nachos.
- a real creeper. No joke, almost 15 minutes for it to kick in.
- very spacey.
And that's where the notes end. So, it must have been fun.
I've never really found a Kush strain that I really liked, so mostly I stay away from them. But the high THC perked my curiosity. Not bad for a Kush.
Not top shelf, but definitely something to try out if found middle/low shelf.
