CBD Rene is a strain that has a nice floral and skunky smell. I found it very smooth, uplifting, arousing and relaxing. Great medicinal strain that takes the edge off a stressful day. Not much euphoria and no paranoia.

Rene Mist is the Tilray (a Canadian government licensed  MM producer) re-brand of CBD Rene originally created by House of the Great Gardener here in BC. It's a cross between Rene and Cannatonic. The whole line of HoGG high CBD flowers are what I'd call 'true medical' strains and they're all excellent for different reasons or general conditions. They're also widely available at various good dispensaries around Vancouver. 
In my opinion, CBD Rene is an excellent intro to medical marijuana for those who suffer from anxiety related issues like myself. It isn't too spacy, or energetic (like the original Rene); just a nice organic feeling relaxed, feel the endocannabinoid system re-aligning to a neutral state, and then get on with some adulting. Really clear headed actually.
Not the kind of stuff you want to hand around at a party, but I lucked out on this stuff as one of the first MM strains I smoked and it really changed things for the better in my own life and continues to be something I always have on hand. 
I will also say that I have chronic Tinnitus, Musical Ear Syndrome, and some hearing loss, and one of the most curious things I found is that it completely stops my Musical Ear Syndrome. That, for me, was pretty fricken miraculous the first time it happened.

Just came in the mail today and I gave it a go after work. Rene Mist was a very friendly experience. I felt content and a little uplifted, with a very clear, mildly cerebral effect. I'd recommend this for the first-timer as it gives a warm feeling without a hint of paranoia. I'm partial to lower THC strains, as high THC strains typically give me headaches if I'm not careful. I'm glad I ordered it and will do so again if this strain sticks around.

Not the best, or the worst.  I would recommend for the novice.

My very first strain. Needed to have someone show me how to grind the weed and use the vapourizer. He said the stickiness of the buds was good, for whatever that's worth.

The smoke from this strain has a light flavour, a mix of earthy and flowery that is not unpleasant. It's not too hard on my throat, though I do get a bit of a tickle from time to time. I have also tried infusing cream with the previously vaped stuff. The effects didn't really change for me when I ate it; they just had a slower onset and longer duration.

At the levels I can tolerate, this strain relieves my pain roughly 10%. It does not help my nausea, and can even make that worse, if I take too much. At low levels, it makes me feel a bit jittery, happy, and talkative. With larger doses, I additionally get tingly, hungry, and dizzy. Too much, and I get intensely dizzy and very nauseated. My mouth and eyes get a bit dry from this, as well - the more I have, the drier they feel.

Because of the jitteriness, I doubt this would be a good strain for people seeking stress relief, but that's pure speculation.
