Everybody has already covered the history and the "Back in my day, I had to walk uphill to school both ways! When we wanted Skunk, we had to chase one of those stinky bastards until we caught 'em. I did want to point out that UK Cheese/Cheese is just a Skunk phenotype that has been skunked up so much that it went cheesy. So, if you want a superstar Skunk that is Skunk x Skunk, go with Cheese rather than Skunk. I might be a little off because we're really starting to split hairs here with all the "you kids won't ever have the good weed like we used to get" bullshit. I'm 49 and you know what we got in Northern California most of the time in the 80's and 90's? Rat weed and Mexican ? Mark strain shake/brick weed..with seeds of course. It wasn't good shake unless it had more seeds than dope right? And back then, growing was not a possibility...unless you wanted to really land in some shit. I'm currently growing 10 different strains. So, did we have dope back in the day? Yes. Was it more crap than good? Oh yeah. Would I have known true Skunk back then? Only by smell...but then, who's to say that what these people actually smoked back in the day WAS Skunk. It could have had Skunk IN IT, so it smelled like Skunk. But nobody on the street could tell 100% what the hell any of it was. People always SAID it was this or that...but that's what insecure and greasy dope dealers say - "Best Skunk in the valley dude!" Yeah right...I can tell by the dime bag for a nickel...and the seeds are really telling me this is some real potent shit." There's a lame 80's, 90's saying for that load of crap: NOT!

A yum strain, making me hungry for some pasta topped with Grana Padano. Puts me in a relaxed state and in my own head, when I smoke a bowl of it I get the high entirely in the head giving me a slight head achey feeling which isn't to pleasant, relaxes after a while but not a nice way to start a high. The buds on this plant look brilliant, narrow but tufts out everywhere with beautiful trichomes.

I've not smoked anything as strong or got me as high like any killer bud or skunk (gungie) I've smoked from mid 70s to the late 90s I'm from NY n skunk grows wild in the woods n smells strong exactly like a skunk or the weed that's called skunk , gungie was sooooo dam sticky that u could nvr keep it lit we rolled joints called pinner's or toothpick n got really freaking high, don't forget 2-toke thrs a reason it's called 2-toke 2 hits n ur high. I just want to get really high like I use to. When I was told by my friends back then that u can only get so high I weed n can't od I wanted to know for myself if they were bs'n me so we smoked Oz n a half n it's true. Since becoming legal it's Ben a bummer. Liked better when it was illegal n I was the store. I wish I could find it cause I miss the HIIIIGH. Smoking bud n Getting so freaking high was freaking great , Awesomely Awesome , felt freaking great ect ect ect , not anymore sucks now don't get high or help with my insomnia , PTSD or from breaking my PS4 controllers or PS4 that I need cause of my insomnia. Basically the only things even worth living for on this Fk'd up planet (for me anyway) I know has nothing to do with question but really wanted to speak my mind n hopefully maybe somebody can help connect me or link me up or wt ever the hell thr calling it now a days. Help find them cause thr worth more then a 5 star grade thr at least 7 to 10 star

A true classic!

Reminds me of oldschool brick weed. very uncomplicated high with some body notes and some head notes. It's pleasant, but nothing special. Taste also reminds me of brick weed with the dominant taste being grass. ther's also hints of petrol, nuts and mint. Not my favorite strain. Still good though (it's still weed).

grab some skunk #1 today. I love my Skunk bud's. This is a original og strain. The buzz is great. so if you ever come across this train I suggest that you try it you'll be very satisfied.

Still the bomb a classic go to hybrid bud with a great buzz and relief.
