News Stories Mentioned in Episode 40:
Amplifications and Clarifications:
Bruce’s father did, in fact, have all the permits necessary to operate a food stand outside the Kingdome and Safeco Field. But he was not an eight-year-old child. Also, “The Deal” included a one-pound bag of Hoody’s peanuts (unsalted, low salt, or regular), a large box of Cracker Jack, and your choice of a soft drink or candy. It was quite popular back in the day.
