I have been a patient of Takoma Wellness for two years. I am very frustrated with them. At the beginning, it was a small program, and the prices were very high, but they would go out of their way to help you select a medically appropriate medicine, and to help you find a physician and get your card. Now they serve many more patients and the service is brusque and I feel like I am imposing on them. Having to look over what's on the receipt in order to get what I purchase is a time-consuming, awkward, and un-needed step. When I call them now, as I did about my medical card renewal, nobody answered the phone, nobody returned my voicemails. When I had trouble renewing my card, an employee snarkily suggested I could just stop being in the program altogether. Their prices are the highest in the country for medical marijuana and I am sick of making excuses for high prices and abrupt service. I am taking my business elsewhere. They don't seem to care about losing patients anyways now that they have expanded.

Very sedating. Lots of dry mouth. Pretty minimal paranoia. Behaves much more like an indica than I would have expected so save this for night. Not too social of a strain but good for spasticity/pain. Aroma is skunky with some pine, not as fruity as you would think. I am kind of reminded of the feel or Master Kush if not the look or smell.

This is some of the strongest Cannabis flower I have ever smoked. Period. For those not in the know, this is Abatin Wellness (of Sacramento)'s latest effort in the super-premium D.C. medical Cannabis market. Usually known as Green Crack, that name won't fly here. P.C. weed (get it) is a very strong sativa that reminds me of the smell of Pineapple Express or Skunk that we have been getting lately but with a distinct appearance with lots of orange hairs. It made me extremely hungry and less depressed but with a side order or paranoia and red eye. Not for the beginner user but just a small amount should be very effective for the novice user.

I got this strain to try it. I hated Krypto from Abatin Wellness, but this was a big improvement.y It was much smoother to smoke as a joint than Krypto or Trainwreck or any of the other strains I've tried. It did not have a very interesting smell or taste but it sent my brain into a creative orbit and made me a bit hungry after an hour.

This is sold as a "Classic" strain aka less well trimmed bud. It may be sold for a lower price but I didn't find it too harsh with a burst of grape flavor and a slightly cheesy aroma. I really like the strains where the fruit flavor really shines through and this is a great example. This batch is rated at 21.6% THC and really merits a try speaking as a patient.

I guess this is average in terms of the quality coming from the dispensary. This offering from Takoma Wellness Center in Washington D.C. is one from a newish cultivator to the scene from Sacaramento, Abatin Wellness. For reasons unknown they have been producing a lot of high-cbd strains that are sold as pre-ground here. I was hoping for more of a pronounced fruit or sweet flavor on this one. It was far more muted of a taste than their "Krypto Type II" (Type II=High CBD) I believe, but the smell is pretty wonderful, like a classic skunky M39 smell that gets me all nostalgic. I would very much like to see if they could get larger whole buds on this strain to sell while retaining the high CBD effects (5.8% tested on this one)

The employee at the dispensary seemed pretty excited about it and I was skeptical because I usually prefer Indicas but this was a pretty great crop.

My favorite strain. Zero paranoia or trippiness. Just a very gentle high yet very potent wonderful for anxiety and insomnia. Smells like heaven!
