NETA - Brookline (Boston) - Rec

7/20/2019
I miss NETA. My first dispensary as a patient, I was a regular weekly customer for years. Now it's a recreational circus. I know they claim to give priority to patients but that's become impossible. Last time I went, a big argument broke-out at the door while I tried to get inside, then I had to wait in line for the only 2 registers set-aside for patients. It was so loud. The bud tender was totally distracted and did not talk to me at all. I still think NETA has the best flower (I miss you Jack Frost) but the culture has totally changed. It's just not for patients anymore.

Mayflower Medicinals - Boston

I started coming here after NETA turned into a recreational circus and Mayflower has been mostly great. Bud tenders are all cool, prices are lower than most, there's on-site parking and until recently it was always quiet. Now that more patients are catching-on, it would be great to have an express lane or pick-up window for pre-orders. That way regulars who already know they want are not waiting in line behind new patients who need more assistance. In terms of atmosphere, a little music would go a long way. Sometimes it's so quiet it feels strangely uptight. But the $199 small-nug special is very patient-friendly. And I will return.

Cannabist - Boston (Medical)

Updating my review from a month ago......I've been coming to Patriot Care in Boston for about 5 weeks and every experience has been great. Jasmine and Seneca are two of most kind and helpful bud-tenders in the city. They really look out for patients with special needs. Also - NO LIMITS ON FLOWER with consistently nice strains. PC also has the best edibles around, made by a French pastry chef. How cool is that? I have not been back to NETA...or stood in line anywhere else for that matter...since the first time I came here.
