My favorite med strain—fantastic for glaucoma and inflammation. Also kicks anxiety in the ass! I’ve tried this strain in concentrate and flower form and I have to say that the flower takes the trophy for my favorite form of consumption.

Calming yet creative. Mostly felt in the body and slightly behind the cheeks/eyes. Good for nausea.

Great flower for headaches and glaucoma along with stress relief. My wife and I tried some last night and it relaxed all the muscles of my face. My wife's headache vanished and she then proceeded to lay in bed laughing about life until she fell asleep. 10/10

Great indica-leaning hybrid with sativa-like effects, minus the anxiety. Great nose on the batch I got, with a fantastic fruity flavor on exhale. Great strain for all day use, minus maybe right before bed. May keep ya up during the first half of the buzz, so plan accordingly, but could work for that as well if consumed slightly earlier than normal if one is using it for bedtime routine stuff.

Rated lower due to my experience with the quality of flower I had--hopefully I come across this strain in good quality form, because the effects that did come through were nice, but very limited, along with extremely muted taste and smell due to it being extremely dry. It initially starts with a decrease in anxiety, followed by a warm feeling behind the eyes and cheeks coupled with a light and brief euphoria. Definitely has potential if grown, cured, and stored properly. Got mine from Ivy Hall and it was grown and sold by the &Shine brand of GTI.

Fantastic indica-dominant hybrid strain. Total terps on the batch I got were 4.458% and the THCa content was 23.060%. Buds were grown organically indoor with living soil, looked amazing, and smelled even better. Tastes awesome, especially out of a dry herb vaporizer. Very relaxing and mellow, but not overwhelmingly so. This would be an epic holiday dinner party strain--not too overwhelmingly heavy on the body or mind, but just enough to counter the social anxieties that can curb a fantastic time with people one may not see too often.

Absolutely fantastic. Picked this up as a recommendation from a budtender--I only use flower at night, and this one is PERFECT. These buds are exquisite--covered in sparkling trichomes and various shades of green. Their smell is wholely unique. I described it to a friend as: "Imagine if some Peanut Butter got in a fight with some hazelnuts in a giant pile of bud." This crop really showed me that THC percentage is only a very small part of the flower experience. I'm a medicinal user--I have a few digestive issues caused by a medication that I take for my eye issues. I also have mild depression, ADD, and insomnia (the curses and blessings of being a lifelong creative and musician, I suppose). This flower knocks out all of these symptoms for me and helps me throughout the morning the following day. It is the smoothest smoking flower I've had yet. I normally only use flower that has a THC percentage over 23-25%, sometimes rolling in some extract to really bump it up a notch. This bud was around 19.6% but gets me where I need to be MUCH better than other higher percentage strains all by itself. I would highly recommend this strain to any consumer of cannabis. For the lower tolerance folk (how I envy you) be warned, it won't take much for you. Super grateful for that budtender, and for picking up and amount that will last my a while 🙂

Snagged an 8th from Rhythm, which was awesome. The buds were dense and beautiful, smelled AMAZING, and were so sticky. I rated 3 stars because this is the ONLY strain that I've been disappointed by. I've been searching for some Black Domina and can't find it anywhere. So when I saw lineage of this strain, I jumped on it. I normally like to use heavy indicas at night before winding down. I rolled about 1.5 grams into a king cone (just over my normal amount because I was so excited for it). After consuming it, I waited for 20-30 minutes and only had what seemed like a light buzz. This amount would usually put me in the clouds, but that was not the case with Black Afghan--unfortunately, it wasn't even close 😔 I'm still on the look out for Black Domina though lol.

As of now, JH is my favorite sativa. I usually get this in cartridge form from Nature's Grace. It's a heady buzz I feel behind my eyes and in my face, and get a pleasant and clean energy. It causes me to become focused yet extremely creative in my thinking, along with positive and worry-free. Perfect for if you dig sativas but can tend to get paranoid or anxious from them, like me, as no matter how much I consume those two things never happen.
