Westside Wellness was my first dispensary once cannabis became recreationally legal, but it became my favorite instantly. The staff have always been friendly, helpful, and pleasant to chat with, and importantly they have a large selection of strains. Generally their buds are average to large, but a few times there was been mostly popcorn. Pricing is all about average. Flower comes in medicine bottles which I love.

This is an Amsterdam local strain, and placed in the 2013 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup. I smoked some at the original Dampkring in Amsterdam during holiday. I hadn't smoked in months, my tolerance was nonexistent. A few puffs in and I was feeling it in minutes. As the night progressed I just got higher and higher. I was giggly, social, euphoric, and at times got quite introspective. By the time I left the coffee shop I was stumbling. I am surprised I got home tbh! Lol. I definitely got lost, and what would normally take 30 minutes turned into a 75 minute walk. Worth it!

It put me in a very mellow place. everything just felt right. My face hurt from smiling and laughing. One of the better strains when smoking with a group.

First smoke was in my hookah, paired with some mojito herbal shisha. The potent aroma and flavor melded lovely with the shisha to produce a smooth thick smoke. About half a gram ground up and mixed into the shisha provided about 3 hours of intense smoking for 3, and an incredible high. This was a great strain for chilling, talking, and watching movies. We listened to a playlist of laid back beach music and it had the perfect vibe. Video games also are perfect! Mario Kart is a trainwreck, and that is just perfect.

Girl Scout Cookie stays true to the devilishly delightful brand it gets its namesake. My first smoke of GSC was from a hookah mixed with dragon fruit herbal shisha. About 15 minutes into the smoke I was flying. It made me incredibly animated, thoughtful, and euphoric. It triggered my synesthesia, allowing me to see sounds as colors and feel music. The subsequent smokes have been from my pipe. I had similar experiences with euphoria. During my last smoke I was having an incredibly difficult day with my depression, but a nice long smoke helped jumpstart my mood and ended the day on a positive. I have noticed smoking too much and I nearly black out. I simply get so tired, and comfortable (I feel like I'm melting), that I just fall asleep. When I wake up I usually can't remember the last 30 minutes of smoking.

My first legal Oregon purchase! What a time to be alive, right? I smoked a small nug with a friend and we had a blast. The flavor profie was that of your standard sour diesel, but had a hint of a citrus taste as you would expect from the name. Aroma was earthy and refreshing. It gave off a nice mellow high. We enjoyed lounging on the couch, watching movies, but once the mild munchies hit neither of us could get up for food. There are some minor almost psychedelic effects, for me I feel like I'm underwater, and had major synaesthesia. Have snacks on hand for sure!
