Afghan Kush reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Afghan Kush.
If ur an insomniac NOT WITH THIS!!!! I smoked this strain on a Friday and I'm telling you halfway through Saturday I was still high as hit if you can't sleep sleep smoke this for real!!!! Can we say weed coma!!!
Would be a nice heavy high if it weren't for the fact it tastes awful and it's hard to get that taste out of your mouth. Maybe that was just the batch I got though, which was pretty cheap and low grade. The high is typical pure indica, though, not as subtle as GDP or Skywalker OG, but solid and pleasant and calm. Unfortunately it has a bit of a hangover effect when you wake up, so it's not ideal for putting you to sleep before an important early start, which indicas are usually great for. You'll sleep, but you might not feel too sharp in the morning.
Definitely got this one as a Christmas present, been wanting to try it out, glad I got it as a gift, smoked it in a rillo , and wheww, I was STUCK sleep do you hear me kmsl. I’ll recommend 10/10
Strain was labeled "Platinum Afghan"
Slower come on that gradually builds at a steady, predictable pace. Woah, SUPER easy to smoke too much. Went down like nothing, but I’m realizing I did uncomfortably more than I wanted. I’m experienced, I know how to gauge this stuff, but man - it tricked even me this time. I’m sorry, but there is an extreme anxiety that’s making this more unpleasant than fun. Maybe because it’s old, I’m kinda hungry/sick, and/or it was the weird interaction with my sig other that’s making it bad? I don’t want to unfairly knock the weed with all these other variables potentially contributing. Still...it sure isn’t helping with any of that shit. You know, this PERFECTLY highlights why this is the best strain for movies and music. Like how other strains heighten your senses, this one heightens your emotional sensitivity. Things affect you soulfully. It makes you feel fragile, but that’s ideal for getting mega moved and drawn into a film or song. There’s substantial indica goneness, feels like your head’s filled with helium, gently tugging upward. Good visual accentuation (awesome for movies) - colors and everything are rich and slick. Doesn’t feel mentally debilitating. Pleasantly relaxed in both the body and brain, feeling cool and collected, but still quite competent. No semblance of the earlier negativity. Instead, there’s noticeable mood elevation, with a gentle euphoria at home in the tropics.
Just…. Wow.
Can you imagine Owen Wilson saying “Wowwww.”
That’s how Afghan Kush makes me feel.
This stuff hit me like a freight train. I’ll be honest, I got a little bit of anxiety initially, but that’s just because I wasn’t expecting this to blast me into space. One minute I’m cleaning out the cat litter box, the next minute my brain has entered an alternate dimension where sounds are flavors and flavors are kaleidoscopes.
The taste and smell of this strain are incredibly unique. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation to another world.
Textbook “indica”, gives you that stereotypical high where I’m locked into my couch or bed and wanna eat everything if I’m not careful lol.
I’m an Iraq war combat veteran. Im writing this comment about this specific strain, because obviously has helped me a lot with my depression and chronic pain symptoms. Afghan Kush; Everything that I need packed in an delightful perfect indica flower. With enough CBD content to shoot down my painful nerves inflammation. Very satisfied with the results after smoked.
This strain has a relatively higher CBD content than most which is much appreciated. As a full indica, it is a must try for those who enjoy body-centered effects.
Flavor: The strain is quite earthy with a cream after-flavor. The smoke is very smooth.
Effect: If you do not enjoy body effects, this strain may provoke mild anxiety. However, the CBD content quickly dampens this side effect. The smoke is very medicinal, and will induce somnolence in the smoker. This is an excellent strain if you are experiencing insomnia. The drowsiness does not feel forced, and renders a general positive outlook for the duration of effects.
