Clone only Albert Walker is a phenomenal, indica leaning, and fairly rare clone from the Pacific Northwest that’s thought to be descended from a very rare (possibly extinct) African Skunk landrace sativa - that I’ve most often heard it said was either Nigerian or Congolese - crossed with U Dub, but possibly another American Indica from the Emerald Triangle. Whatever its origins, it’s a beloved plant, as much for its unique, electric lemon forward and skunk terps as it is for its calming, euphoric relaxation without any hint of couch lock. An excellent evening smoke for after work or for a barbecue and blunts party with friends and loved ones over the weekend. Not great for a late night smoke before bed or a treatment for insomnia as it’s only slightly indica dominant, but it shines for binging your favorite show or getting lost in a video game. While I personally prefer sativas for social occasions, this is a good choice for those who can’t handle sativas or just don’t enjoy having no control over their imaginations, which is the main reason that some people get so paranoid when smoking a really heady sativa hybrid or heirloom topical / sub-tropical pure sativa. Most people don’t realize this, but believe it or not, sativas actually have anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects. But their intense, mind quaking abilities do indeed lead to an often uncontrollable burst of imagination overload. Creatives love sativas precisely for these thought trains that can lead anywhere, giving them incredible depths of inspirational energy. But for those people that aren’t used to smoking cannabis very frequently, or tend to avoid sativas for fear of panic attacks or induced anxiety, don’t realize that the heady high sativas bring on - racy or clean - lead one’s own mind to overflow with incredible imaginative energy - something abundant in children, but that has been suppressed as we grow older; as we become adults. The raw creative energy can’t really be controlled, which is why it can be so exceptionally valuable to writers with a block, or musicians who’ve allowed the mathematical nature of music to unconsciously give their creative abilities too much structure. While this boundless creative energy that sativas let loose upon their minds can’t be controlled in the traditional sense, it can be directed to commingle with conscious thought and to take on the hybrid duality of conscious thought, as well as unconscious imagination. One who is unaware of these things, and who often allow their minds to go to a negative place when getting high. Whether it be a deeply personal sense of shame for wanting to experience something pleasurable and desirable, the voices of so many people telling them that drugs are for losers, or claiming they’ll fry their brains, or perhaps they are so afraid of breaking the law, of the authorities, and of being punished. Unbounded imagination combined with negative emotions and thoughts is a recipe for disaster. It’s no wonder that people associate sativas with intense anxiety. What else could such an endless amount of imaginative energy, unintentionally pushed to imagine images of law enforcement agents hiding in the rose garden, about to burst through the doors and windows, or of causing themselves irreversible brain damage, or of losing their freedom - of serving jail time, which is, for most of the population, something they’ve only imagined or seen mostly inaccurate depictions on TV. Albert Walker, that like most hybrids lies basically in the middle of the pack: either 50/50 sativa/indica, or 60/40 - 65/40 in either direction, but particularly those that lean indica, are excellent for those who really can’t stand the couch lock that can be caused by more heavily indica leaning cultivars or even pure indicas like Moroccan Hashplant, Sinai, Syrian, Lebanese Gold, Iraqi, Iranian, Uzbek, Hindu Kush, Pakistani Chitral, Pakistani Black, and almost all other Pakistani cannabis plants, with only a handful of sativas from the country, or one of too many Afghani varieties to name, almost all of them pure, indica hashplants, like Balkh HP, Lemon Balkh, Afghani Black, and the mystery Afghan landrace that would eventually be come to be known as Northern Lights #1. Absolutely my favorite of all time. Haven’t been able to find it anywhere in years. Super distinct aroma I could definitively pick out of a crowd if it was being smoked nearby. Same with my ride or die.

VERY BEGINNER smoker! i have been experimenting with different strains very cautiously to find one that i like. whoaaa i like this one! i thought id never find one. my preroll has a thc of 18.36% and cbd: 0.07%. since im a beginner i only took about 4 puffs i feel an even high, my body feels a little numb, head feels a little numb (ears ringing) and just feel happy to be laying in bed.

Wonderful strain to have! I've only been able to get it in Michigan though. Very good for Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain👍🔥

I got a great batch of this stuff and it was transcendent. It hit like a train but mellowed out like a weightless leaf 🍂 flowing in the softness of the wind. Basically made me feel like Pocahontas 🌽. It hit hard at first. I couldn’t find my words. All of the sudden, CLARITY! I knew I was high but I had such focus and sense of clarity that it was easy not to feel paranoid and get stuff done. Highly recommended trying from a good grower.

No better strain overall. I do not know of any strains crossed with Albert Walker, but why would you? True Albert Walker buds (usually Northern NorCal or south Oregon) is a clone only pheno that hopefully is still ALIVE!!! The buds are not huge, but can get long, I think is from the sativa lineage. If properly flushed and cured, this is such a unique smoke. The flavor is of the smell are of diesel fuel, a compost pile and Candyland! OK- the high. Albert tastes totally different than it smells, like heaven in the form of smoke. Enjoy the walker slowly, enjoy the taste. Soon it feels like a blanket wrapped you. Then you cannot be not happy. You are perfectly balanced, I am a med user, so that helped sooo much. If you find albert walker, taste and store him. He always solves a rainy day.

I don't normally go out of my way to rate strains, but definitely wanted to give this one a good rating, and let people know how great it is for anxiety. You can immediately tell that it's an indication dominant because of its heavy body high. I was in a bad mood, smoked this weed, and I was singing to some songs I barely knew the lyrics to. I love weeds that just immediately make you forget your problems, and loosen the heck up after a stressful day. I highly recommend this strand. And a special shout out to 172nd cannabis for giving me exactly what I needed.
