Aurora Borealis reviews
First post-harvest smoke after drying and curing this strain. I grew this strain from an auto flower seed purchased from Pacific Seed Bank. It is everything Leafly says about it and some of the other reviews. To all that received a bad version of this strain, please give it another try. It is the most beautiful high I have ever embarked upon. I am so happy and content with life. Gives you peak creative energy and as a writer this is so special. This one was very easy to grow but the yield was low. I normally grow outdoors but moved to a non-legal state so back indoors I retreated. It is my first time growing from auto flower seeds as well. Yield was lower than I am used to (3.2oz) but quality is amazing. I am already germinating two more seeds. Aurora Borealis will be in heavy rotation in my apothecary. I hope to grow it for many years to come. I like who I am when I am high on this strain. It’s so hard to explain so just find some or grow some, please. Be kind to yourself. One Love!
For the person with chronic pain who’s here looking for a good strain: this one.
It almost hurt when all my muscles relaxed, but then it hit with the head high that made me not care about the pain, coupled with the body high that turns you into jello.
Pain was fully gone, but I still had the body awareness to not do things that would normally hurt. Doesn’t seem to affect your energy; it won’t put you to sleep, but it also won’t keep you awake.
Worked equally well for one person with a connective tissue disorder and one with chronic hemiplegic migraines. This will be joining our rotation of bad pain day strains.
Loved this strain it was called Velvet Aurora- my bf doesn’t really smoke and he felt great, no paranoid, little heavy but definitely a completely uplifting happy ‘chill’ high.. definitely recommend if you have anxiety and/or social anxiety. 5/5 - ps; it did make me horny too which is always a plus lol
Just lovely! Not much else to say but it’s one of my favorites. It took away all the pain, I felt such at peace. Didn’t make me sleepy but relaxed and calm. Wish I could find it more often!
Flower from Trinidad CO Halloween 2020, still smoking it May 2021. Pretty heady sativa leaning crop, this was marked 20%.
Somewhat strong creative buzz with some physical relaxatation.
Typical sort of Skunk Kush strain where the Afghan is quite dominant but you can also detect the Skunk 1. Very reliable strain with a decent indica high. Can be quite pungent. Earthy, musky, woody and sometimes hints of citrus/lemon.
One of the heaviest strains I've tried, but with enough mood-elevation to keep you out of the swamp.
I medicate mostly for insomnia and inflammation, and have found AB to be absolutely perfect for both. It packs a fantastic indica body high that's ideal for both serious pain and post-exercise soreness (and especially as a pre-sleep hoot).
Its cognitive effects are a bit mixed, but in a very entertaining way. I found there was a sweet spot with speech, preferring relaxed conversation with only a friend or partner--it's definitely not social weed.
The batch I tried felt madly potent, so much so that any latent creativity-enhancing effects stayed just that, leaving me very peaceful but a little foggy. It is wonderfully positive though, and anxiolytic.
AB's flavor is simple, clean, and sweet, sort of a faintly sugary bamboo version of Hashplant. AB has a pronounced freshness but avoids most of the stronger earth notes, making it especially nice in handheld vaporizers (less of that roast spinach flavor toward the end.

It smells so good! But it smokes even better!
