Black Cherry Gelato reviews
Oh mannnnnn. This was some REALLY GOOD WEED. Got an eighth from the company 1937 for 30$ didn’t expect much since it was really cheap. They need to change the stock photo ASAP because when I opened this eighth I came across probably the most beautiful looking buds I’ve ever seen. They were frosty black with deep purples/green and orange. I’ve never seen anything like it honestly. It smoked so nice even had this sweet exhale which I loved. Had the best high ever in a long time. I believed I understood all underlying concepts and twists in the things I was watching. Things that I had already known I felt that I had a deeper understanding for. I was so relaxed like covered under a weighted blanket. This must be what peace feels like. It was bliss. No Anxiety no paranoia just straight happiness and laughs. Food was so much better, gave me a nice hit of the munchies. My pantry was in shambles. Then finally, had the best sleep in a long time.
Would smoke again 10/10 times, if they’re selling it I’m buying a whole zip every time.
I smoked Black Cherry Gelato after a long, chaotic, and emotionally exhausting day — and it hit exactly how I needed it to.
The day started off rough: confusion with the trains, unexpected detours, walking under a scorching sun to a dispensary far from the station, and dealing with a heated argument with my dad about religion. Add job stress and dehydration to the mix, and my body felt drained and sore, my mind on edge.
But once I got home, hydrated properly, ate, and took the time to stretch, this strain came alive in my system. The synergy between the weed, the food, and my body was unreal. It delivered a deep relaxation that felt earned — like a reward after pushing through physical and emotional weight. My anxiety smoothed out, my muscles softened, and I found myself slipping into a euphoric headspace that felt calm, centered, and safe.
This wasn’t a “knock you out” high — it was more of a realignment. Black Cherry Gelato gave me space to breathe. If you're dealing with tension, stress, or just need to ground yourself after a rough day, I highly recommend it.
Black Cherry Gelato is one of those strains that might appeal to a very specific crowd, but for me, it just didn’t hit the right notes. It's an indica-dominant hybrid, and you can feel that immediately after the first few puffs. There’s a brief window of mild euphoria at the start, a light, airy head change that gives you a moment of lift, but that doesn’t last long. What follows is a heavy, slow-building body high that really sinks you into the couch.
Once it settles in, it’s all relaxation to the point where you feel sedated. It’s not necessarily unpleasant, but it’s definitely the kind of high that pulls you away from your surroundings. Social settings? Forget it. I found myself zoning out, barely talking, and completely locked into my own headspace. You might still think interesting thoughts, but actually expressing them feels like a chore.
One thing to note: the munchies hit hard with this one. If you’re not trying to raid your kitchen at midnight, plan ahead. On the plus side, the flavor is pretty solid, it’s got that sweet, creamy cherry profile with a little earthiness. Smooth on the inhale and pleasant overall.
Black Cherry Gelato might work great as a nighttime strain if your main goals are to relax, fall asleep, or unwind after a stressful day. But as a daytime or social strain? Not ideal. It doesn’t offer much in terms of mental clarity or engagement, and unless you want to be in your own little world, it can feel like too much.
Final thoughts: Worth trying at least once, especially if you’re looking for something to help with sleep or deep relaxation. But if you’re after a more balanced high or something sociable, there are better options out there.
The Intellectual Stoner here, dropping some knowledge about Black Cherry Gelato. This flavorful indica dominant hybrid is a tasty cross between Black Cherry Funk x Acai. Visually stunning, with vibrant green buds stacked with deep purple leaves, dark orange hairs, and frosty crystals that catch the light just right.
The aroma is a captivating blend of earthy, herbal notes layered with sweet berry and fruity undertones that really come alive when broken up. The flavor follows suit—sweet, fruity, and dangerously delicious, like candy for grown-ups.
Clocking in at 31.50% THC, this strain delivers a deeply relaxing yet focused high, melting away tension while keeping the mind clear. Great for easing pain, melting away stress, and calming anxious vibes. If you're after a flavorful, calming escape, Black Cherry Gelato is a top-tier choice. I would definitely recommend.

it sure smells like cherrys and the high makes you feel brand new , good chronic
This one’s a heavy hitting Indica hybrid, very fruity tasting, so the name says it all and super smooth on the lungs as well. tastes as if you’re biting into a pear an apricot and a cherry at the same time. The batch I had was around 29% THC and about 2% Terps. After a few tokes, that bit of a head high starts kicking in and melts right down through your body, relaxing you but not putting you right to sleep or on a couch lock. Also got me a bit hungry and a bit hawny.
First time trying this and would highly recommend anyone who's looking for a chilled, mellow and very calming time. Can cause a bit of couch lock especially in higher doses. Mine was definitively indica dominant. Helped with my autism, stop my meltdowns
