Don Carlos reviews

I grew some myself and even talked to Uncle Don throughout the process. This definitely has the traits of an OG and Diesel strain. It takes me back to high school with that old school flower. Makes me feel like I did when I first started smoking. All I can say is, always trust a Rasta when it comes down to cannabis preference, especially Don Carlos. Lit my first joint with a laser to pay homage to his song “Lazer Beam.”

Nice crystals, sugary looking buds. Smells of a sour piney lime ammonium gas overtones. Burns with a nice peppery heat , pine lime skunk undertones. After taste is of pepper with minty lime and pine fresh herbs. Relaxed buzz three rips in I was lifted. Seems to help with eye pressure.. , medicated seems to help aches and pain. Slight dizziness due to its strength. Very pleasant smoke that burns nicely to a white char. I would recommend highly up to an ounce. Five stars because the taste is unique and the medicinal effect is undeniably profound. I’ve smoked weed since 1993. This is in my top 20 due to that peppery Smokey lime 🍋‍🟩 zest.

Took 5mg from a homemade tincture. This is a slow burning high. Effects hit around an hour or so. If I drift off in thought long enough I kinda just enter empty thoughts, but if I focus on something I almost don’t feel high. Overall relaxing body high and just pleasant overall demeanor. Definitely one to keep on hand for a more chill sleepy night in.

One of my favorites that I’ve grown out recently and people around me also agree. It has a nice frosty silvery purplish flower with a sort of sweet fuel, berry like nose on it. The high is very pleasant, very much on the calm side, with focus and relaxation. It’s definitely good for doing things without being too heavy, yet, it’s also a good end of day variety too as it has such a nice good vibes and calming nature to it. It’s the main variety right now that I keep going back to over and over. I know some of us connoisseurs have a few things out at a time that we are sampling and enjoying but Don Carlos is the anchor holding down the ship in the background.

I found this to be a good strain for sleeping and arousal. Not my favorite for relaxing on the couch as it makes my eyes feel heavy. I’m meh on the taste.

Where to start, it’s scrumptious, lets the stress melt away, and works as a perfect indica. I got a gram of this at the local dispensary and I regret not buying more, definitely one I will be heading out to get more of when available. The high sets in almost immediately and while strong behind the forehead it’s not overwhelmingly so. From there there’s a sense of relaxation that spreads through the body and lets you unwind.

So first off I found this strain to have more of a spicy/herbal taste, which i dont find too enjoyable lol. Strain smoked really nice. Big thick clouds for sure. I did find the high to be somewhat mellow. Good strain for morning or daytime use in my opinion. I felt pretty relaxed, focused and uplifted. I'd say it's a solid 7/10.

Heavy body high, was really great for my indigestion pain and body soreness. It did end up putting me to sleep but that’s because I believe I over-consumed. Very heavy in the eyes feeling, nice relaxing high.
