Mint Face Off reviews
First strain I tried coming back to weed after YEARS. Had anxiety issues and I just assumed weed wasn’t for me. But this strain is SO relaxing. For me, it chills me out and makes me giggly. If I don’t re-up/smoke again, I will get sleepy. It’s perfect for afternoons/evenings/sleep. Definitely recommend for experienced anxiety girlies bc this strain can be pretty strong.
Big couch/munch/sleep strain. I personally love it
Warning: MUNCHIES (no seriously)
This is what I know as Resting Kush Face. It’s incredible. Went from talkative to mentally expanded. Really wonderful. Heavy.
Picked up some Face Mints from Cresco Labs the other day and I gotta say, I am thoroughly impressed. I really think this strain might share some genetic lineage with GSC because the smell/taste (especially on the exhale) is giving me big cookies vibes. High is intense but also mellow. Idk why but when I smell this it has me me feeling nostalgic, like it’s my first time smoking again (my first-time strain was Blue Dream - another with kush genetics, so maybe that’s why it reminds me of it). Not a beginner strain. 9/10
Heavy hitter for a seasoned stoner! Indica leaning and powerful within first few hits of a joint. Def recommend for nighttime relaxing and unwinding. Just be careful not to overdo it
It tastes like a mint leaf. 100 percent approve
This is a great strain to just sit back and relax. Watch TV! You slowly start to feel like you're floating on a cloud! Almost gives you the same feeling as ketamine does after the trip! That nice warm floating feeling that you get a couple hours after! Your body basically feels great. Great for headaches!
Absolutely amazing! Smoke this before bed for sure
A peculiar enough strain that I was motivated to publish my first strain review on Leafly about it. A very, very powerful strain that is best smoked at nighttime, as, while it doesn't induce severe couch lock, does make you quite sleepy. I work night shift at the time of this review, and smoked it in the AM after work to help fall asleep during the daytime hours. Face Mints, fresh from soon-to-be-vaunted cannabis industrialists CrescoLabs and packaged less than a month before purchase, has a very intense smell upon opening the canister, not so much of skunk but of a very unique mentholated damp, almost mildew smell (there was, of course, no mildew present!) The menthol is something I've never experienced in flower, and it is the prevailing flavor in the smoke, as well, along with an almost equally peculiar nuttiness.
The high is powerful and stoney, and will easily help you sleep, but doesn't induce laziness or couch lock and leaves mental focus only lightly impacted. It produced a minor body high, but not enough to likely be as beneficial as other strains for pain relief for those smoking medicinally. Definitely the most peculiar tasting flower I've smoked to-date!
