This is hands down my favourite bud. It is a hardhitting Indica for those perfect couch-locked evenings.

Okay, hey y’all. I love the asstiddies off this strain. My first few encounters left my mouth confused and tasting of what i thought was breakfast sausage. But then one warm night it came at me like a fresh vineyard grape. Mad props. It does give me a strange urge to blog. Odd, but welcomed. Too chill to fight it.

This is simply wonderful. I suffer from chronic migraines, occasional insomnia and anxiety. This strain is just what the doctor ordered. I use the distillate cartridges from VSPR. Not much is needed, a cartridge will last me a month or longer, and my hubby uses it sometimes too. It helps his aches and pains, the blight of the blue-collar-heroes. A far as my migraines, they have diminished in frequency, and I've tried EVERYTHING the Neurologist had to offer. Was sick from those brain-tonics for months. In a million years you couldn't have told me the solution was weed, who knew?

All hail the king of strains for the anxious smoker! Granddaddy purple is a true blessing for those suffering with anxiety, pain, lack of appetite, and insomnia. I have used both flower and concentrates, however this review will be on flower (the concentrate is just as good, just obviously more potent!) Obtained from Herbs4You in Denver, CO Upon first opening the container you will notice a wonderful aroma of what I call grape and citrus with very subtle notes of pine (If 'purple' had a smell...this would be it). Simply put, the aurora of this strain is simply amazing. The buds are typically densely packed with beautiful trichomes and orange hairs layered in a beautiful coat of resinous crystals. As for the high, GDP for me typically has a fairly quick cerebral onset, but it is calming and soothing rather than racey. After about 15minutes the heavy sedating Indica effects start to take hold. Your mind stops racing, your cares start to slip away, the pain melts from your body, and you are left in utter and compete bliss. This strain will be VERY dose dependent though as it can be heavily sedating. GDP is often used at night, but it can be used by experienced smokers throughout the day if consumption is monitored. Overall GDP gets a 10/10 from TheAnxiousSmoker for all those suffering from pain and anxiety disorders!

Has a distinctive but subtle taste. The colors of the buds can be amazing.

I smoke GDP occasionally for chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, muscle spasms, insomnia and PTSD. I would recommend this strain for medical issues only and for evening or nighttime use, as it is heavily sedating. Best medical strain I have used.

Today, for the first time, I tried GDP. nice berry taste.Definately a two-hitter-quitter, so I took 3 , I love it.
