Has a distinctive but subtle taste. The colors of the buds can be amazing.

Absolutely phenomenal indica; it absolutely deserves its great reputation as a potent indica. Now I’ve had a few “purples” and so far any one of them are my go-to indicas. However, with the exception of Purple Punch, I sometimes experience a sativa level euphoria, which is very fun because it comes with none of the raciness that a sativa carries. Although if I’m running errands rather than being in the security of my usual smoke spot, I do get a touch of anxiety on the paranoid level, not on a stress level. I suppose it’s closer to just an overawareness of things potentially going wrong rather than being genuinely paranoid even in a light way. But I’m vaping on it right now in my spot and am just experiencing total body relaxation. I’m deeply weighted in comfort and warmth. And while I have no pains, I can see how it would settle physical discomfort as well as any mental stresses from the day - not in the “yeah well everything is going to be okay” sort of mental relief way but rather the “this body stone is so nice it’s all I can think about” way. Also, shout out to Magna Carta vape cartridges. I think their GDP is about 70 percent THC (give or take five percent). Now that’s not crazy, but idk what it is, this hits me hard after only one hit, and I smoke every day. Maybe it’s because it’s distillate while other cartridges are a wax mixed and thinner with VG? Could be the difference. Because just two consecutive hits can affect me for a few hours. The first hour with intensity, the second hour with a few spikes of laughing and just silly thought patters, and the third hour with just the nice come down relaxation a good strain will leave you with. But whatever you do, tread with caution and balance if you are smoking this during the day or if you need to do anything. Not only are you fully stoned, but you can’t even retain the will to do anything outside of whatever is arms reach away. And even then, there’s an amount of mental effort in trying to raise your arm haha. Definitely in my top three favorite indicas and would keep it around. Not as cerebral as Purple Kush but similar in body stone, yet not as anxiety free as Purple Punch but similar in mental relaxation.

From someone with chronic sleep issues, this strain is the only thing I've ever tried in my life that puts me to sleep, keeps me out, and allows me to wake up without any adverse effects. It's going to slow you down, with a body high as huge as the head high, it just sort of puts you in a "blanket". I've never tried GDP during the day, but I can't imagine it's useful beyond forcing a nap if you need to - it's that good. Definitely a night time strain, don't expect to be the life of the party... unless the party is in your head and doesn't require you to move or have in-depth conversations with people! GDP tastes very sweet, big grape and berry flavors consistently. I have heard Black Mamba is similar, but with more intense body effects, and allegedly BETTER for sleep than GDP. I look forward to finding out for myself!

Beautiful. Tastes nice, feels nice. Kind of an even split between head and body. I'm LOVING the peace I feel right now. I'm going to bed so comfortable.

This stuff smells great off the bat, the sweetness and grape(juice)/berries. Woo! The buds look very generous, and it looks dark like a pure indica, with some (minimal) yellowish/orange hairs, however its really covered in crystals. I was already looking excited to trying this out because I've heard of this "creeper" strain. I smoked the GDP, and I start watching a longgggg violent sci fi flick (I'm thinking cool, I'll fall asleep to it while watching.) NO. It lasted half an hour... What I thought was the high... then the REAL high kicked in. It made me euphoric in a very "non-negative" way, like I didn't feel like watching or listening to anything loud or violent (and I'm a metalhead/horror buff). I really just wanted uplifting stuff. Now I didn't sleep right away, at all, but I didn't end up watching my movie either, I ended up watching YouTube wedding videos (mostly to see how men dress) because I'm engaged (no, it had a meaning lol) and a strong desire to listen to ABBA, which I did, and smoked more GDP. And oh God the sweet tooth! I don't have a sweet tooth and I had 3 muffins and a small carton of chocolate milk. Thank goodness I get bloated fast. And like I said before, very non-negative; At one point I looked at my hot sauce and said, "Not tonight mister! You'll hurt my tongue, I want the nice sweet things in life." I said that, to an inanimate object. No one was there, other than my dog. Who I think understood me. one of the WEIRDEST highs ever. Out of all of them, tastes the best by a LONG SHOT. At one point I just wanted to smoke it because I liked the flavor. I was getting really sleepy at that point though hahah. Recommended for fans of Blue Dream who want an even more "night-time" strain.
