Jelly Donut reviews
Jelly Donut - Nashville underground. (2oz test)
I’m not really into all these new names but this strain shouldn’t be passed by.
-The terp profile makes for one of the best tasting buds I’ve come across. The “loud” skunky aroma comes through but very much sweet with a slight berry or grape finish. -Appearance wise this strain looks like dosidos or alien og. (Dark shades of purple showered in trichomes). Growth pattern is noticeably interesting and gorgeous.
-If you’re dealing with insomnia or muscle issues try giving this a shot. It leaves my eyes dry which is nice for winding down. Anyone looking for that strong indica may want to search this strain out. I could go on but point being this strain is very medicinally helpful. Easy 5/5
this was an impressive experience. I have tried the flower and concentrate and enjoy them both immensely. this is definitely indica leaning hybrid and has a massive relaxation effect. my muscles aren't tense anymore, my pain is gone, I feel very floaty and happy. this isn't the strongest I've ever smoked but it doesn't have to be strong like that all the time! I always enjoy a nice calming and relaxing strain just like this every once in awhile. my mind is also a lot calmer and I'm experiencing less intrusive thoughts so I'll call that a win!
Phenomenal. Night time gas
I bought two grams of pre-rolled joints in this strain--For the first time in ages, I could honestly get a solid whiff and taste of the flavor coming through the herb, and it really *IS* reminiscent of that jelly donut your Gramah used to buy for you after Sunday Mass was finally over.
Effects: a wave of warm euphoria and a sense of physical relaxation hit me on the third hit, which shocked the hell out of me considering my high tolerance overall. Mentally, it wasn't an entire brain-stopper the way Hindu Kush, Afghani, or any other "pure", landrace or heavily-indica or Myrcene-terp heavy strain but with a name like Jelly Donut, one should not expect it to produce high, medical-grade quality effects either. It made me slap-happy giggly--I watched a couple of YouTube clips of Speedy Gonzalez and his cousin Slowpoke and had tears coming from my eyes and quite possibly sprung a leak. Perhaps TMI but yes, I feel this strain is more for the recreational user than medicinal. Doesn't last super-long, but mileage will always vary depending on one's body chemistry and their sensitivity and tolerance levels.
Very smooth on the inhale. 1 lightly packed full bong rip was delicious. VERY sweet. Exhale was a bit harsher than expected, but it should be noted, that felt more like i'd maybe smoked too much earlier today than it might be the strain... so grain of salt, it's my first hit... It's a beautiful classic indica stone, but very VERY mellow once the initial rush wears off. very balloony head high, it's potent, but good LORD is it also relieving! Body is just wonderful mixture of buzz and weight.. Powerful as hell, but not QUITE velcroed to the couch. I'm typing this while on the peak of this trip. It's an absolutely beautiful high. Lower tolerances can use as sleep aid, but this is probably best used for those with enough tolerance to appreciate being able to use something like this for creative writing, meditating/breathing exercises/prayer/howeveryouwannaputit, it's excellent for that. I feel beautifully relaxed throughout.
I bought this hoping it would be a hard-hitting sativa-heavy hybrid. It deff wasn’t that (for me). But I still like it a lot as a “wind down at the end of the day” strain.
First off, this is legitimately the yummiest strain I’ve ever tasted. I’ve never been able to distinguish the complex flavor profiles that different strains have. They all just taste and smell skunky to me. This one actually tastes and smells like fruity candy. Like smarties (in the US) or sweettarts. I like want to take another hit just to taste it!
It is fun and relaxing. It makes me happy, but in a mellow “content” way. And toward the end of the high it knocks me OUT and I sleep like the dead.
It seems to help lift my mood (I have depression) and makes me feel warm and light. Not the most cerebral or euphoric high, but a calm, peaceful one.
It’s deff not my energizer bunny strain but it has its place. I like to toke it around dinner time when I have an evening to just vibe. Then 3-4 hours later it knocks me out. Good for watching TV or doing repetitive/menial tasks. It does make me lazy af haha.

Pretty good. Marketed as indica dominant hybrid for me. Makes me get really sleepy fast
Great strain, a deep, skunky but sweet flavor profile leads you into a slow-burn high and waves of euphoric wellbeing hit you, sedating you as your worries melt. I also noticed this strain has almost no side effects so I reckon it’d be very useful to patients.
