Great strain as someone with both anxiety and severe depression, this allows me to settle down and rethink things. Most of the time I am just looking to get high but this strain more so is used as a tool for me.I have not had a bad experience smoking this strain and I like the taste, Earthy, Buttery, With a slight lemon and honey touch. It was not harsh on the throat.
The dispensary worker suggested I try this, and I’m glad I did. The taste and smell is doughy and buttery, with a hint of sweetness. and the buds are dank and sticky. The heavy Indica leaning effects from this one hit me pretty quick, so I’m impressed. Not sure the % of thc on this but I’ve also gotten to the point where I don’t really care too much about the THC percentages because I’ve had stuff at 14% that was better than stuff at 32%..
This is probably only the 2nd review I've ever left, despite being a regular reader for several years, and I'm doing so because this is my new favorite Sativa as of August 1, 2023 (my 1st review was for my former favorite Sativa, White Durban).
Echoing what many others have described:
- made me tranquil/calm, yet very aware of my environment and surroundings when walking around, out of the house
- felt a relaxed, clear focus when doing work from home at my computer
- an overall feeling of being "even" and clear with a nice fun little head buzz that does not make you tired or sleepy
- my new perfect "get things done or enjoy the outdoors" Sativa
only "negatives" : smell and taste were not as robust as you'd imagine with such a name, "Pancakes", but the blueberry, butter, maple taste/smell is slightly there
i personally didn’t like it too much cuz of the headache, i wouldn’t recommend smoking this in the city, especially if u get overstimulated easily, didn’t feel anxious or anything but the headache i felt afterwards was killer and my mind felt foggy coming back out of the high so i had a hard time locking in on reality afterwards and with the headache it didn’t help. i also had a rlly bad cotton mouth, so DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. though the high felt great the headache and the aftermath left an impression on me. i would try it in a different setting that might help enhance the high since i have over half left but not sure if id purchase again
The flower looks amazing, flecks of black/dark purple, the smell is almost warming.
In a joint, it tastes sweet and smooth, not giving me couch lock or paranoia. Definitely an evening one to settle you down.
it smells great and the initial pull is great but it was kinda spicy and harsh imo, but im starting think that might be a brand issue bc the preroll i bought labeled it as a sativa but i when i looked it up its not. so i have to try a different brand and see if its a better experience.
Great Strain! Not too heavy on the smoke but yes on the high. Awesome for relaxing
Picked this up today at one of the "sticker shops" here in NY. The buds I got didn't look the greatest in one of the eighth so I decided to smoke that first. It still looked good but I've seen better. Anyway it's been rain the past couple of weeks here and it was finally a nice day so I went on the porch with my bong and proceeded to indulge myself. First couple hits were nothing special but after about 5-6 I was ready to go. My neighbor started mowing his lawn so I did mine. Best time mowing my lawn all year, afterwards I was ready for the shower. After that I took a couple more hits and straight to my recliner to mellow out for awhile. This would be a great strain for right before a round of golf or beer league softball. I think I'll try it out next weekend before my last golf tournament of the season.
