Purple Thai strain

Just got an 8th from a new dispensary in my area and tho it was small sized buds , I have nothing but great things to say about it. I don't like overly sweet sugary candy like strains, at all. This has a great aroma , Citrus, a bit of sweetness but a distinct aromatic characteristic that Thai strains possess. I loved smoking Chocolate Thai back in the 90s in NYC (still an all time favorite) so thats why I was eager to smoke this. I felt happy, Alert but relaxed, hungry, overall Just a Great mood , Def Stoned 🙃 . Body feels looser , joints less stiff and rusty.

I’m going through a divorce along with enough other traumas: got served divorce papers in front of a school PTO zoom meeting, my dad passed away and I watched him actually pass away, hit by a semi truck that totaled my beautiful car, my husband retitled the car on HIS name to claim the insurance check and so on and so on and omg so much to dump into the tire fire already! And I’m handling it, but just barely. He is pushing all my limits. I do not appreciate that. And he has a married girlfriend out in the open. It’s messy and not my scene. But he’s feeling himself these days, so good for him! Cool guy, rad dad #1, using Rogaine, seggc as hell. Buttons close to popping off his shirt 👕 too much! But omg everything is so close in sequence that you wonder if life will ever be joyful again? And what the hell is this nonsense going on right now? Am I a bad person? What’s going on right now? Seriously. I’m in heck. But just for a few minutes. I’ll make it out eventually and thrive. I have to. One day lol. So if you feel something or can relate to some aspect of the above: PURPLE THAI IS THE ANTIDOTE TO AN OVERWHELMING TIME OF UNCERTAINTY! Brought my joy back. I mean I still feel the same, I have a brighter, laidback, more uplifted attitude to problem solving. And that allows me to enjoy fun time with my homies. Two puffs is all it takes. This is a special strain. Therapeutic first, then fun is right on it way too! And doesn’t make you sleepy but you also don’t feel like you’re running around all day. Dank brand. THC around 30%. One of the best strains I’ve ever had

I don't think this one was quite for me. It had a very interesting flavor - it was very liquorice like with a hint of earhy-ness. I've never tasted anything like it besides actual black liquorice and Jägermeister lol. The effects were uplifting -- I feel immensely interested in whatever it is I'm doing but they don't last more than an hour at most.

Short high and makes me sleepy far more than energetic. Smells good but description is hype and overrates this strain.

I call this the epiphany strain, personally. I always realize a lot of important things and see how so many things are connected that I’d not realized consciously beforehand. Flavor can be a bit earthy but nothing too strong. Definitely makes me happy and usually want to sing and dance around my apartment while cleaning. I can also function at work just fine with it. At higher consumption levels, I can get slightly paranoid if out walking at night alone, but then again, I live in downtown Chicago, so is actually the weed doing that or is it just Chicago at night. Perhaps both.

my original plan was to microdose and work on an essay. i loosely packed a third of a bowl (i normally smoke a whole tightly packed bowl). smoked with a bong. beautiful earthy and herbal flavor. felt smooth and gentle on the lungs overall. very little coughing. immediately zooted. i was initially hit by an intense wave of energy and euphoria similar to molly. I felt totally electric. After the initial slam, it gave way to a strong energetic buzz. My mind and body alike were buzzing with energy. I turned up my music loud and started dancing like crazy. no munchies, overall clear headed, just happy and energetic/slightly hyper. After about 45 minutes of dancing, it quickly wore off, falling into the same trap as many sativas: a short high (however, a quick high can be convenient). would give purple thai an 11/10. great weed for a party or a concert.
