Purple Trainwreck reviews
I've been sampling around a lot of different strains in 1g portions, and there's a good reason I ran out of this one first. This is top five for me easily, maybe even top three. The flavor is bright, herbal, almost a touch minty, in a way that while not my all time favorite (shoutout to Gelato and Runtz varieties), is more than welcome to stick around a little. Solid 7/10 for me there, very enjoyable.
It strikes the absolute perfect balance for me to feel relief from ongoing stresses and anxieties, without getting me stuck in the couch. A few puffs is followed immediately by a long needed sigh of relief, a buttery relaxation spreading through mind and body. Good for both relaxing with something more idle, or doing some light chores, swimming from activity to activity with a controlled, delightful cadence. Another huge bonus of this strain is that it's one of the best I've found in my personal experience for muscle ache/body pain relief, even in small doses. Usually I need to smoke a lot more of anything else to get this level of physical relaxation and ease, but just a little goes a long way.
Worries seem to melt away, and along with it a good portion of my filter when talking to people, in the best way. Playfully chatty in such a relaxing and pleasant way. I'd say it's similar to Blue Dream in this regard. Heart to heart kind of chats could happen easily, but also just feeling a little more at ease with things brings an ease of conversation and pleasantness that is lovely to live through.
In higher doses, this can certainly knock you on your ass too, lmao.
Overall one of my go-tos, when I'm feeling particularly worried or on edge, unable to start a project that has me anxious, or otherwise just want to relax physically and mentally without going full couchlock, this is what I spring for. Absolutely getting more. I would recommend this to everyone if you're looking for the kind of high I described above.
I'd like to think everyone has a few "perfect" strains for them out there, and I'll be honest, I'm not sure if it gets much better than this for me 💫
I was in Detroit in the winter ( because god hates me )staying with my mom and looking for decent shit (or (bullets to push through my head).I live in Venice and I grew up in the bay area so Michigan was an adjustment in expectations and judgments. After I smoked my way through a 60-mile radius I found an actual dude with shit he grew that looked like a really hot girl in the 6th grade( who had this kind of pot). Purple wreck sold out in about 15 min after I bought as much as he had and checked his pockets for more and blew him.
Back on the farm, my mood changed and my mom was just a hoot. The drunk, republican snow-covered shit people said made me giggle and i had less of that hospice inspiring feel. It became almost a little pretty outside like a girl on a canoe trip after a day or 2 you need her it made things almost not as bad, which is really good in this context. I also turned up the tv and drank like I was paid to suck out of a funnel . The P-wreck made that empty hole in me fill with almost pretty fun times, I don't remember most of them and that's amazing. This was during the winter and I would meet chics for a date that almost always ended having sex in a minivan racing against hypothermia (purple wreck made it holiday inn during spring break ) .- It worked like a birthday wish if the wish had to include living with your mom in Detroit.
There is more on but ghost face haze is chatty.
A true medical flower, the effects of Purple wreck; will stop suicide, homicide and got me laid, top that scotch and Prozac. If it's grown right this strain is an anti-depressant, a hypnotic and a possible cure for erectile dysfunction( from scotch and Prozac). It got me animated but mellow and very entertaining, it can be fun just giggling with mom and shoveling snow at night ( smoked like it was burning evidence ).
Please note I was smoking so much of this shit it looked like an insurance fire which was an idea that may have been genius ( shhh).
If you don't like purple wreck .than you don't like yourself or my mom
Woke up with awful migraine & nausea. Pain scale 6; nausea 7 when I medicated round 1030 or so. Takes bout 5 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. Body high energetic; gonna kick @$$ in the kitchen in a few. Head high strong but not overwhelming (o so nice). Love the strains where the body high kicks in first! 3 hours later body high & head high still goin strong! Definitely on my list of favs! Love me good worker buds! :-))
Migraine pain 5; nausea 4-5 when I medicated round 1330 so. Takes less than 5 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. No anxiety/paranoia (a wonderful must for me). Head high very energetic, creative & definitely euphoric. Body high exactly what I needed. I'm not very good with discerning taste; tasted sweet. Highly recommend for daytime use. Love me good worker buds! Found me another fav. :-))
Those are some beautiful nugs. Thick and dense buds that are dark green/purple with bright hairs just like the picture leafly provides. The sample I purchased definitely had more of the GDP shining through more so than the Trainwreck. Smell was very similar to GDP as well, hints of lavender with that Trainwreck grapefruit gas muffled in the corner. It hits like most purple weed and slows you down and mellows you out. Definitely recommend.
Classic head high then body. Very nice.
Helps me relax and enjoy vibing out. Doesn’t muddy my mind, just helps me relax and be where I’m at. Things I’ve done on this strain: intense self therapy to heal my inner child, write chapters for my book, play video games, walk my dogs without headphones and enjoyed the sound of the birds.
I’d recommend to help reduce distractions and focus on being in the moment.

I was a little wary of this one because I do not like trainwreck, but I love the purple family, and the particular grower (Cannasol) delivers great product, so I figured I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised!
The ladyfriend and I both loved the flavor, which was very piney/ earthy. It had that old school weed taste that I adore. Buds were very purple and green (I'll submit a photo for ya'll).
Every damn time I smoked this strain, I'd end up sitting there, staring into space holding my pipe for 15 minutes. Every time! My partner had a similar experience... whenever she'd go to pass it, she'd forget if she had already smoked 😂 It brings a euphoric chill out that's really quite impressive.
I'd agree with the other reviewers who said it made them happy and chatty. It's relaxing but not tiring, chatty/ giggly without being active, and euphoric without being psychedelic. All in all, a very enjoyable strain.
