One of the best hard-hitting Sativa strains out there. SD has a very distinct smell, after your first time experiencing it. You will never forget it. Hints of lemon, with gassy diesel fuel smell (not foul). The aftertaste leaves a lemony, vanilla type. As for the high itself. Prepare yourself for the ultimate experience. From known accounts you'll experience boosts in energy, creativity. People often find themselves doing activities they once never enjoyed or tried. Although it isn't listed for it primarily. If you suffer from Depression (Lack of interest/social issues/etc.). Sour Diesel might just be your savior. It will change you for the better with regular use.

It was okay... It didn't seem as great as everyone said it would be.

I obtained a gram of 'Fire Type' Sour Diesel Shatter from Collective Efforts in Sacramento. I have been using Marijuana medically since 1997 and Dr. Todd was my initial physician. I needed a day starter so I chose the Sour D. The taste was pure Petroleum! It was clear right off the bat, that I would definitely be using this shatter for it's medical benefits and not taste as it lacked almost all taste you receive from the flower. The first test was to find out the smallest amount needed to get effects. This proved to be awesome in the fact that it only took a speck the size of a grain of sand to get me energized.

This is, for me, the absolute sativa classic. Everything about this strain is intense - the THC-frosted bud, the glorious aroma, and the signature lung-rasping qualities that only Sour D can deliver. Due to the strength and thickness of the smoke, this is not a strain for the uninitiated. I'm basically a daily smoker, and one pull out of a bong gave me a fit of coughing and the sweats. But the most intense part of it all is the high, which is the most cerebral, buzzy head rush that evolves and morphs over time into something special. Any strain-conscious smoker jumps at the chance to partake in some Sour D, and you owe it to yourself to see why.

The first two hits out of my bong didn't get me high but once I had a big third hit I was instantly KO'd. This strain is extremely dank and left me tripping for hours. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone for a nice high that makes you talkative.

it's has a dream high that takes.stress away

This strain will get you in trouble if you are not prepared for it. I smoked a few bowls of this with a couple of buddies late at night, and I can honestly say I don't remember most of what happened. I felt extremely outgoing, and I went a bit out of character and left my comfort zone by going out into public multiple times that night. One of my friends (who had smoked about the same amount as I) somehow got lost in the dark garage and broke a bunch of stuff trying to find the light switch. Otherwise, this is a great strain that really stirs things up.
