The Cough reviews

I purchased The Cough strain Muse CDT cartridge at Trulieve in Florida. I aimed at being informative, so this review is good for “beginners” looking at trying new strains and not sure which one to get. It’s a little long so if you’re an experienced user and knowledgeable about terpenes you can probably skip to the end. Also, it’s not a medical review, but what I CAN say is it’s making my tinnitus worse and it’s definitely not making my headache go away, lol. Contrary to what Leafly lists as the dominant terpenes for this strain, the Certificate of Analysis for this batch is dominant in Limonene and Carophyllene at 0.855 and .818 % respectively, and the less dominant terpenes Humulene, Linalool, and Myrcene at below .3%. I’ll start off by telling you my tolerance is pretty high. I prefer sativas and sativa dominant hybrids, but I’m very susceptible to anxiety when smoking weed so I always try to stick to higher levels of some terpenes over others. On Leafly, it lists this strain as a sativa. On Trulieve, it lists it as a hybrid and I think I would agree with that. The Linalool and Myrcene in this strain makes me feel relaxed, while high levels Limonene and Carophyllene make me uplifted and creative. The Humulene in this strain just gets me high as f*** lol. Not that I don’t like that, I DO, but… definitely not a strain you should be smoking at work 😂 I recommend researching terpenes, checking terpenes of tested product (if you can), and experimenting with different strains so you know what you like. I kind of feel like strains are recipes, and each recipe tastes different just like each strain feels different. If you’re prone to anxiety, try strains with high levels of Limonene and Carophyllene, followed by Myrcene. Any mix of the 3 is good but I find high levels of Limonene are best for making me feel uplifted, talkative and creative with no bad effects. I really enjoyed Apples and Bananas, and Creamsickler (which is a new strain but very similar to A&B which is more common) both from Muse that I purchased at Trulieve. They were very similar, while A&B was a bit more mellow than Creamsickler, which wouldn’t let me stop talking 🙊 or writing! Strains with Humulene and Terpinolene tend to make me feel anxious or “stoned,” especially if I smoke too much. This strain made it hard for me to focus on my work, and made me a bit too relaxed. My brain kept going to random places during conversations, thinking about creative projects I would rather be doing. If you’re a beginner who finds weed makes you anxious, you might want to be cautious with this and take it easy while smoking. With my tolerance, I find it pretty strong. Regardless of what I DON’T like about this strain, I still recommend trying this strain. It’s pretty good, I would say it’s a sativa-dominant hybrid. Good for chilling at home and watching TV, hanging out and chatting with friends, or working on a creative project, not so good for going to work due to its stronger relaxing and intoxicating properties. One of the best smelling strains I've come across. Sexual enhancer. A new favorite.

Fort Collins Cough Not the strawberry cough from Amsterdam. It was a well known strain here in Boulder and Fort Collins. My buddy has been keeping a mother of this since the early 2000s. It’s a Haze dominant phenotype, but yields. It is one of the strains I believe to be perfect.

The Cough definitely lives up to its name (a true lung buster). Over all very good medication. I took 1 rip off my bong ( choaked my ass off) and got an instant head change. Two hits later all stress faded away and my chronic neck pain was gone... Wow, im imperssed, and that don't happen very often

This Strain definitely lives up to its name. I would recommend it to anybody though, one rip off my bong and after I got coughing my ass off I was pretty high, three hits later all my pain, stress, and anxiety drifted away, i can honestly say i got stoned, definitely will buy this again
