Are you hosting a cannabis event in Canada? Email canadaevents@leafly.com to share your event with the Leafly community.

Women’s Social: 420 Friendly Paint Night

When: June 7, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Where: Kush and Kanvas, 684 Osborne St.

Test your talent and satisfy your artistic curiosities at what’s been dubbed “Canada’s first 420 painting experience.” Join a group of women lead by talented artists guiding you towards your next masterpiece. Organizers remind artists of any level to wear paint-friendly clothing and to BYOC, as none will be provided on-site. Expect “sesh” breaks in between brush strokes.

Higher Learning: Introduction to Cannabis for Dad

When: June 11, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Where: Tokyo Smoke Dominion Centre, 55B Goulet St.

For an hour at Tokyo Smoke’s Dominion Centre location, have your cannabis knowledge elevated with an intro to cannabinoids. Load up on information to help you choose between different cannabis varieties and receive guidance on safe and responsible consumption. This free event provides local refreshments. You must be +19 to attend.

Higher Learning: Cooking with Cannabis

When: June 26, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Where: Tokyo Smoke Osborne Village, 437 Stradbrook Ave., Unit 2

Join the Tokyo Smoke team as they go in-depth on infused treats and how to create them using oil infusion devices. Educator and local chef Andrew Koropatnick from The Roost and Black Tree Winnipeg hosts the event, as attendees learn the basics of cannabis cooking through hands-on demonstrations. Local refreshments will be provided, however, no cannabis will be used in the demonstration (practice with fresh herbs and an oil base instead). Space is limited for this free +19 event.
