I was looking for a good indica that I could smoke at night. As a cannabis user, the effects that I look for in a strain are: euphoria, relaxation, uplifted, happy, giggly, tingly, and something I like to call “The Kwan”. The Kwan is that feeling you get with certain strains that just make you say, “Yeah, this is some GOOD shit”. It is the word I use to describe that feeling you get when you want to get up and dance. The Kwan is when music sounds better, food tastes better, and all is right with the world. So, letting you know, that is what I’m basing my review on. I got the herb, it smelled pungent and floraly to me. It was as sticky as a post-it note and looked pretty dank to me. Smoked it and almost immediately I started to feel the effects. As I continued to smoke, I noticed that I was becoming high. It felt good, tingly, a nice body high; I started to feel a bit of a head high as well. I waited for about 30 minutes to really make a judgement call on this one. Do-Si-Dos gives a nice high, but that’s about it. It made me feel relaxed as f**k without a complete couch-lock feeling. I felt a little creative, a bit analytical, and a bit sleepy. It felt good, very good; but that’s about all I can say for this strain. I didn’t feel as euphoric as I’d wanted to, I felt somewhat happy, I was a bit uplifted. I noticed that most of the qualities that I look for were there. However, the single greatest quality was not there; it didn’t have The Kwan. I was a bit disappointed, but it’s okay. It’s good weed, just not great weed. Not to me anyway. It’ll definitely make you high as apple pie, but if you’re looking for The Kwan, look elsewhere. I suggest Master Kush. Good, not great.

I was curious to try out Blue Dream because it has gotten such rave reviews, and also because it’s the #1 result that pops up when you look up strains for a euphoric experience. Euphoria is the sensation that I seek most when I’m looking to buy a top-shelf strain on payday. What will make me feel completely content with life? That’s what I’m looking for. I was wary of it because it’s sativa dominant, and I smoke at night; but I thought it was worth a try. So the bud arrives and I open the pouch to smell. I smell something different than what other Leafly users describe. It smells floraly, sweet, with a touch of pungency; not too much. A bit sour, with a touch of cheesiness. It smells ~lovely~. I grind it, pack the bowl, then smoke it. It’s smooth and sweet. So far, I’m pretty good. I get a high going and it feels nice, but i want to feel nicer. I wasn’t feeling as high as I wanted to be. I took three more rips than I usually take for my normal “everyday” weed. I decided to stop because I knew I had smoked more than usual, and I decided to just be content with the decent high I was currently feeling. 5 minutes in: This feels nice. 10 minutes in: This feels really nice, but I suspect it could feel better. 15 minutes in: I’m just going to stop smoking. I guess the euphoria just stops right there. *shrug* 23 minutes in: Wow, my cheeks feel so nice. 27 minutes in: YESSSSSSssssss. 34 minutes in: “Escargot, my car go, one sixty, swiftly... wreck it buy a new one... ya crew run run run! Ya crew run run!” Needles to say, it was a bomb ass high. No paranoia, didn’t keep me up later than usual, didn’t get my heart to pound fast. Just happiness and contentment. Things tasted better and music sounded better. Life was so fun and things are so funny. Everything was more satisfying. This strain was relaxing, yet stimulating. I didn’t feel sleepy, yet I didn’t feel alert. You could use this strain at a party, or during a quiet evening at home. Very versatile and a great sense of serenity, yet slight excitement. I gladly give Blue Dream 5 Stars. 5 golden, sparkly, glittery stars. Two thumbs way up. I highly recommend it.

What day is it? Who cares! This strain is incredibly relaxing and promises a great full body high. This strain is what every stoner expects to find someday. Something to make you say night-night. I find this flower easy to smoke, with a classic scent. If you are looking for something to promote relaxation and pain relief, this is the strain for you. A little goes a long way though.

Not the strain for me. I can see why it's popular, but I've definitely smoked better bud. The aroma is sour. It isn't smooth to smoke at all. The flower is dense, raw, sticky, and whispers promises of ultimate dankness... but no. I feel the high, I feel the numbness in my cheeks, I could go out and socialize, I could take a nap, you know; normal stuff. I just don't feel the happiness and euphoria I feel with other bud! This'll get you high, but definitely not the strain you smoke on a Friday night after work on your payday.

This is one of my all-time favorite strains. It gives a great high that starts from a little head high and relaxation, then midway enters euphoria, and lastly, you feel your cheeks are numb, and it's hysterical. I especially like the euphoria stage. I love its aroma. The flower I got was a teensy bit dry, so I'm curious to see what differences there would be if the buds were fresher and more dense. It is quite smooth to smoke. Five stars!
