the morning before i went down to the dispensary, i had been listening to the velvet underground’s “white light/white heat. so naturally, when i opened the website to preorder and saw vireo’s orange velvet underground on sale, i had to pick some up. immediately when i opened it, i got strong, flowery, citrusy notes, but barely any of the typical musky weed smell. it was perfectly sticky when grinding and rolling - not too sticky to make rolling hard, but sticky enough to hold to itself and to my fingers. it was a great smoke. very smooth, light taste, slow burn, and strong flavor retention. the high had me a great combination of relaxed and sharply focused on what i was doing. perfect for an afternoon smoke!

a nice general-use strain. a strong body high but not too intense up in the brain. the bud was smelled great too, very sweet and flowery.

nice sleepy, happy high. overwhelming calming feeling came over right after smoking. definitely quieter, however.

potent, energizing, and uplifting while still avoiding paranoia and anxiety! perfect sativa.

pretty nice body high, knocked me out after a while. great way to start my bedtime routine :). helped with my knee pain and my back pain.

very sleepy high. i was yawning ~15 minutes in, and passed out by about 30. great for insomnia. i feel like strains w cheesy smells are just always pretty good, even tho they smell kinda funky and off putting. definitely a good time :)

strong body stone. warmed me up while I was on a walk in the cold! tastes and smells really nice and herbal, kind of like a strong spicy tea. very smooth smoke. and a great time, as well.

a very nice balance! gave me a good cerebral buzz to stay on task combined with a super chilled-out body stone. perfect for parking on the couch and getting some work done. all around win.

i got back inside from smoking this strain and immediately started cleaning my room. i was so focused and productive, and the high was still really heady and full-body. good stuff 👍

This strain really got me talking. Seriously great for social anxiety, though it definitely gets pretty heavy and sleepy after a bit. Super nice body high, but not too heady so I could still think + focus.
