Purple Moon Dispensary

I was most fortunate to find the Hawaiian landrace Maui Wowie in the jar behind the counter here. I've always enjoyed the berries and fruity strains so this was a prime choice. Purple Moon brought the boutique-style comfort to this legalization I was hoping to find. Thanks for that. I have brought a few people with me here and will continue to do so. Handicapped accessible, which is hard to find sometimes. I can't wait to come in again!

Chocolate Thai

~ chocolate thai ~ I carefully tracked this strain, absorbing as much knowledge about it as I could. OKMC in Broken Arrow, OK is the dispensary I call home. Behind the counter was a very knowledgeable gentleman wearing a hat. We chatted about the origins of this landrace cannabis. “I’m an old school smoker. I remember when White Widow and Northern Lights reached Oklahoma. Now, my interest is in landraces. I remember Thai Sticks. Never had a chocolate terpene profile before. What can you tell me about it?” “First off, if you like coffee then you will love Chocolate Thai.” Sold! “This has the taste of coffee. A smooth chocolate on the exhale with coffee on the inhale.” The man with a hat opened the jar and handed it to me. My mother, my caregiver, held the open jar for me. My hands don’t work so well. Yes, he was right. Together, these buds create a cappuccino terpene profile that was new to me. I remember drinking coffee early in the morning, sitting on a bench next to the Colorado River. The smell lacked the floral, citrus, and fruit I tend to enjoy. This, however, had none of those. Instead, this strain possessed pine, earth, and musk. It was a mix of spices blending turmeric in there. This particular strain softens incessant nerve pain. If normally your appetite is weak or your eating habits are less than, then this will help regulate your appetite.” At the register, I paid the man $80 for 7 grams and wheeled away a happier man.

OKMC Dispensary

Soon as Oklahoma passed legislation for legal cannabis, I was eager to visit a dispensary and see what we Oklahomans had to offer. I knew that the blackmarket had top shelf cannabis and wanted to discover how medicinal marijuana fared. OKMC (Oklahoma Medical Cannabis) set the standard for local dispensaries. They had the top-shelf cannabis I sought. And the knowledge of those behind the counter reiterated to my mother the same stories I had told her for the longest time. Now, their knowledge was passed on to her.

Now, their knowledge was passed on to her. I had books about landrace strains and was eager to find out more. I discovered Queen Mother Goji. From the mountains of Nepal to the arid deserts of India, this strain has strong roots in these regions. With parents Nepalese OG and Snow Lotus, the enhanced mood often alleviates depression in patients seeking relief from them. This strain also helps one settle and ease the tension in body and mind: releasing any pain. For those withe eating disorders, this strain brings hunger to them returning their desire to eat. With undertones of spice and musk, Queen Mother Goji’s dominant terpene profile blends floral , pine, and earth. The smoke on the inhale, a cool breeze. On the exhale, a walk in a garden. Then again, those were my surroundings during my smoke session.

SFV OG

Like the strain highlights observes how SFV OG "can be a bit harsh" when smoked. While this strain does make me cough, I recommend microdosing this one. Also, it makes a mighty fine tincture; the people I shared it with gave it high reviews. I took the opportunity to make a batch of budder, too. The effects are strong with this one.

Key Lime Pie

My cousin just came home from Colorado; we live in Oklahoma. She got it from the grower, I got my hands on a bit last night, and it joined me the next morning - this morning. Oh my! It helped my morning zen as I was introspective and my entire spine relaxed in a way I can't quite describe. I will leave it at that. If you ever run across this strain, it is worth your time.

Endless Sky

Living in Oklahoma, variety is limited. I packed my pipe with this strain (1 of 2 I procured earlier; the other Sage & Sour). Without going into my list of medical history and all that bjazz, I will say that wheelchairs tense your muscles after sitting in them for so long and that both tighten your muscles and compromises the skeletal structure. The little bag it came in came alive as I moved the bud into its new jar. The tension in my lower back began to unravel like relief. I had just barely smelled it and I knew. In my bowl Endless Sky gave me a chance to enjoy a life without too much discomfort. But, take it slow. Endless Sky does not move like an avalanche of potency but rather the slow pace of lava.

Someone else reviewed it with an emphatic, "A shot in the dark!!!". I live in Okla. so I rarely come across variety to choose from. When I do, I havel little-to-no time for research before cash already switched hands. I didhave
