As the nugs I received were denser than steel, I must say the high was quite exquisite. Stuck the medicine in the grinder; the room began to smell of scented oils. The smoke entered my lungs slowly and as the waves of euphoria wiped over me, my eyes shut and saw the world for how truly beautiful it could be. The effects of the THC itself, left little to be desired. I only wished the longevity of the strain's potency had greater endurance.

As always when I visit this location...I'm greeted with a friendly staff, a clean facility, and a diverse range of medicine for all my needs. This time I decided to splurge a little and try a new edible that took shape in the form of an Arnold Palmer drink. Typically I'd get the Equilibrium infused vitamin water drink but as they were out and this new drink boasted to be 3x as strong as Equilibrium...I couldn't refuse. Now on the back it gives you instructions on how to dose yourself as it is 200 mg. A cap full measures 15 mg of medicine and takes about 30 mins to kick in. However as I'm a high tolerance patient kinda guy...I drank the whole thing within 20 mins. Gotta say overall once it kicked in, it was rather mellow. With each drop swallowed you can taste it's there but as an all-over effect...I'd say it's along the lines of a sleep aid with melatonin/valerian root. Definitely recommend as a good night time drink!

Wow, what a bud. This stuff will knock you on your ass within moments of sparking up a bowl. The folks at Holy Smoke Seeds definitely created something genuinely awesome here with this indica dominant Hybrid strain. It hits smooth but punches hard. It's fragrance is copacetic, but the taste can be a bit rough. It's like licking some pine sap straight out of a tree. But I definitely slept really well the 2 nights I had it...and that was just off of a 0.75 g bottle of shake. Definitely recommended.

Cherry Pie. While the name brings about thoughts of family gatherings, relaxed days, and sweet teeth...the strain can be much more intense. Within the first two hits out of my 3 chamber water pipe (with an added ash catcher), I felt the edges of my eyes begin to tunnel inward. There's was an immense sensation of falling off my chair when I knew I firmly planted in my seat and sometimes, when I stared at the wall, the tiny bits of plaster started moving becoming more reminiscent of a rising tide before a crashing wave. You'd think with a name like this, it would've been more relaxing. But perhaps it wasn't the genome of the strain that determined its name...perhaps instead someone was just a really huge fan of Warrant. That would at least make more sense as to why this bud hit me like a bullet train. But this is a very good strain for what it's worth. Cherry Pie works like a steam engine: It's quick to start when the fire is being fueled, but when the coal runs out, the locomotion is quick to haul.

I haven't been in SWC too many times but with every time I've met new talented and highly motivated staff. When I questioned the best sativa or indica was on house they didn't hesitate to give me an answer and when I gave inquiry about getting into the industry, I was given insight from personal accounts. Everything from the walls to the glass see through display shelves is just awesome to look at. At times, you'll be wondering how to sort through it all quickly enough in your head so you don't start drooling on the counters once you see their edible selection. Each area is very specific and intelligently organized as to make it as convenient as possible for the medicinal customer. I highly recommend coming to this dispensary if you're looking for a relaxed environment and friendly yet professional budtenders.

As overall this is a higher CBD strain, I was expecting a very different feel from most other THC ridden strains I've tried. Initially the smell reminded me of something I'd experience from a "fire" strain. It was mellow, nothing that would leave a tickle on your nostrils. It was followed by an earthy taste that while pleasant, didn't leave without a sense of cottonmouth. The cottonmouth came quicker with this strain, but the "lifted" effect the strain had about 30 mins in, made the trip to the dispensary more than worth it. It's very rare for me to smoke a CBD strain that gives me so much of an upper feeling. I'd say it's rather reminiscent of Mother's Helper. The strain was rather cheap at the dispensary so I didn't expect but I'm gladly surprised at just how much (despite a high tolerance level) these buds affected me. I'd recommend this to anyone who's on a budget, but also to people who have a history with upset stomachs. The medicinal value of this particular plant came in handy when I'd eaten some hard boiled eggs that while didn't taste bad, managed to destroy my insides. Suffice to say, after one bowl of Chronatonic, it wasn't the biggest of my concerns anymore. 4.3 out of 5, if I may be so bold. Enjoy!

On the first hit, the strain tasted kind of funky. It sort of tasted like the smell of fresh, finely trimmed grass. By 10 mins in, I felt like I was finding myself emotionally and spiritually in the 3rd person perspective. 45 mins in, my computer monitors started to mesh together and I was seeing images of John Candy in my current session of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I felt more active while under the effects of this strain, ready to start making giant plans and push forward with lifelong goals, yet...I couldn't find my feet while my mind wandered. The more I thought about designing Halo tournaments in my quad city area, the slower time seemed to turn. By the time I generated a one paragraph sponsorship pitch idea to Bungie and 343 Industries on OpenOffice, it was 3 am. Suffice to say, this a wonderful strain to lose yourself in. With a pinch of salt, understand that Blue Haze will open your mind to new, engaging thoughts. You might not feel inspired physically, but mentally your ideas will soar. But be warned, your stomach might be sore as well as this strain can cause major munchies.
