So my usual strain is Purple Punch, but I thought I'd give this a go. I pretty much always use as a vape, so YMMV. What I can say, is that the name of this strain is really accurate - it really hits like a 9lb hammer. I'm used to my usual strain having a gentle build-up to the high, but with this it came on suddenly and ferociously. I tried it for about a week, using it about 3 or 4 times. After that initial period however, one Sunday evening I tried this and in hindsight maybe I used a bit too much, but OMG! The high hit harder than ever before, and suddenly the room started spinning. It was so much that I couldn't close my eyes for fear of getting dizzy. Literally all I could do was lay in bed on my back and breathe... gently... Eventually I started getting nauseous, and managed to stumble my way to the bathroom. I sat on the floor and eventually just gave in to the nausea, and started vomiting... literally emptying my stomach... But it didn't stop there; I eventually was drinking water in-between, simply so that there would be something in my stomach to come out. This carried on for an undetermined amount of time (I completely lost the ability to keep track of time) - it may have been 20 minutes, it may have been an hour. Eventually I was just sitting on the bathroom floor and kind of made peace with my fate and got as comfortable as possible on the cold tile floor. This actually made me feel a bit better, and eventually I was able to make my way back to bed. I have to say, I slept really well that night. Last night I gathered up enough courage again to try this again, this time feeling much more prepared as to what to expect, and knowing to use a LOT less. This time it was quite different, and I ended up having a really pleasant high, as well as some amazing sex. New users beware of this story - while this is an awesome strain, it can catch you unawares if you are not prepared.

I have dealt with chronic pain for 8 years. Started smoking again and after trial and error this one stuck me to the recliner. I was so focused on nothing 😂 Seriously, forgot everything. Stopping on planted Mars to make sure it’s still red, it’s more of a rust color and very dusty 😷 I was journaling on my cloud, wondering how I got the journal 🤔 I saw a peaceful world ahead of me and thought about how many people I loved and when I get off my cloud I’m going to call them. Pain free, no anxiety and realization of what really matters in life 🩷 9# hammer is a pain reliever!

Great strain for sleep! There are not many drugs that help me sleep, including Seconal, an old barbiturate drug that I took in the hospital years ago. This strain gave me the best sleep I had in decades! I understand why they call it 9lb hammer! lol 😝 I had to go back and get more! I find with these strains that help sleep don’t work as well if I use them daily.

We grew this based off the reviews. I’m here to tell you that it’s fantastic! Not a lot of coughing from it, it’s a nice even high, and yeah I got spicy on it. Definitely worth the work

I truly liked it. Taste was great the effects was great I got some exotic 9lb hammer from THCA small buds.com for $20 a quarter zip for the price can't beat it all it it's pretty in the bag it smells awesome and the effects are definitely for the experienced smoker I do recommend to anyone tho.

I have CRPS, which causes extreme pain. Without 9 lb hammer, I would not be able to do much! I am 60, and have always been physically active. To be able to walk without extreme pain is amazing. My husband and I enjoy this strain!

One puff is all it took to get me relaxed and not feel any pain at all
