No wonder this is in coffee shops in Amsterdam. Coffee + dutch treat = bliss. If you have any depression, anxiety, or any other mood related issues Dutch Treat will put a smile on your face and melt away your cares with a big smile.

Let me start with some background: 1. This is my first smoking experience in 2ish years (I’ve never been into it due to point #2) 2. I have anxiety and CPTSD, so when I smoked in the past the negatives would outweigh the positives, so I rarely did. 3. I am not an expert in anything, but have preferred topicals in the past 4. I decided to try to find something for my anxiety after my doctor prescribed me with Zoloft. Which I really don’t want to take… so here we are. Okay, here’s my review: This is a smooooooooth high, very light and just takes the edge off everything. The strain I got was .25% THC but 24% TCH-A. As someone nervous about triggering my anxiety or CPTSD symptoms I’m very weary about THC. This strain hit just right. Kind of sweet in aroma, herby in taste…like cinnamon-ish and provided such relief. I didn’t feel like I was overly focused on what I was feeling, I could chat with people and not feel like I’d slip up and be “outed as high”. I felt energized and creative. I felt like there wasn’t anything that I couldn’t overcome… which is new for me. Fears melted away and I could focus on just what was in front of me. *I highly recommend for those worried about getting too high or who are new to smoking weed* I will be loyal to this strain for awhile as I explore new ones and attempt to manage my mental health.

I've got to say Dutch Treat is one of those classic all time strains you can always depend on to hit above it's weight! (Did someone else say that, too?) I felt compelled to give it a 5 and so I did! Really I wanted to give it a 4-4.5 but the thing is these days there are too many new strains that don't really deliver and the old school strains are harder to find and often cause more. In the case of Dutch Treat, I got it at a low price, but the bud was still pretty impressive! Covered in crystals and it gets you stoned within a few hits or so! I'ts kind of a 50/50 bud you feel uplifted at first but then you get pretty relaxed as well. It makes you feel euphoric and kind of like laughing, puts a smile on your face relieves stress. It's the type of strain I want to hit frequently, if I have 304 different strains, this is usually a favorite. Overall it does lean slightly towards the indica/relaxed feeling but still is somewhat upbeat as well!

I'm not gonna lie my experience did not go how I expected it to based off of what people said. For me, it feels like a heavily Sativa leaning hybrid and there's nothing particularly relaxing about, granted it's definitely not edgy like some hardcore sativas. It's got that vaguely spicy apple n pine smell I associate with terpinolene heavy strains like Jack Herer n Super Lemon Haze. It's def got a complex flavor profile but as a whole, this stuff smells like cinnamon, peppermint candies and cupcakes. The effects were energizing and euphoric and while it definitely didn't cause me any anxiety, it didn't help as much as a lot of other strains either. I can see this stuff however potentially being great for getting out of a depressive funk! Overall, I'm a huge fan! Also it helped with pain from esophageal spasms a lot too. Can't say that for many strains!

For someone who deals with anxiety and stress this strain is the absolute best so far I’ve tried. Doesn’t make me feel sleepy. But i could easily still fall asleep if needed. I feel so happy while on Dutch Treat. I can’t wait to play my video games with wife & kids and watch movies. Eating while on this strain is also amazing. Taste amazing on inhale smd even better on exhale. Pretty strong. 3-4 hits out of my bubbler and i feel perfect. I’ll always be on the look out for this strain from now on

Lately the quality of Dutch Treat flower (Seattle) has been the best I've ever seen. It isn't just one place or anything it involves several different growers and shops but lately the Dutch Treat consistently looks absolutely amazing, just complete fire 🔥. I picked up an eighth from Skyhigh Gardens and while it test at only about 19% THC it looked absolutely beautiful it was a nice dense emerald green perfectly manicured and cured with fire orange hairs and that very pineapple, sweet, citrus thing going on that makes Dutch Treat such an original. The high starts out upbeat with a head rush that hits as soon as you exhale, from there it gets quite euphoric with a heavy Indica body high that is nice and relaxing but shouldn't leave you stuck on the couch . If you're looking for a strain get you up and going, kinda kickstart your day this probably ain't it but, if you're looking for really flavorful, perfectly cured, with a pretty heavy Indica high that has just enough Sativa genetics to make things fun. With this strain being so popular in Seattle I've run into some pretty boring, tasteless versions of this strain but lately Dutch Treat season is open!

Hands down my absolute favorite strain. I’m a daily smoker, I buy nothing less than ounces and smoke them in less than a week.. I’ve smoked my fair share of brands and strains. There’s nothing like northern lights x haze. The best combo you can intertwine to make “Dutch treat” i seriously probably bought every ounce of Dutch treat my local dispensary had.. it was under the “perpetual” brand. I haven’t found it since, sadly!!
