Grimmdica reviews
This is one of the most indica-leaning strains I've ever tried.
The nugs are very thick and greasy and require being pulled apart before you dare stuff it into a grinder. They are dark green with subtle shades of purple.
The smell and flavor is very unique and a huge contrast to modern "desert" strains. To put it simply, it STINKS! Unexperienced weed smokers might be put off by it because it is particularly pungent and musky. It kind of smells like sausage gravy if I'm being honest. But to those who like pungent / musky weed, this will make your knees shake.
The high is exactly what you'd expect of an heirloom indica. It creeps on slow but it's very sedating. Full body and mind relaxation and its hard to think or initiate movement. As someone who's taken medications like ativan, and ambien, i'd compare this grimmidica to that narcotic-type high where you just cannot keep your eyes open or even think
Pretty tough stuff!
I've been wanting to try this and its parent strains for a while. I packed a bowl of compact, but light flower from Kiona. Green and a little on resiny side. It by no means is a strong high, so dont expect to be floored, but where this strain lacks in punch, it more than
makes up for in other areas. First, opening Kiona's jars is so fun, they wax their lids. The scent was typical Afghani smell, and super pleasant. In the 3.5g jar, one nugget caught my eye in particular, the trimming was really well done. Smoke over ice in a bong, man, this is where she shines. Her flavor is like, coffee, chocolate, nutmeg, almonds... herbs and spices; this would be a great strain around the holidays! Eff it. I'm putting on a Christmas movie and packing another bowl. Pain relief isn't noteworthy. Mood lifter, and definitely a 'hey darlin, lets chill by the fireplace' kinda vibe to it also. Forget the movie. Going go cuddle with the wife.
Nice smooth indica high grate for gaming or movies, warning your way more baked then you think you are on this. 3.5 stars.
Purchased this strain from the Harvest located in North Port. Definitely an Indica, put me down pretty hard. Not necessarily sleepy but super relaxed. Helped with the pains in my legs and feet as well. 9/10
Not the strongest Indica effects for sleeping. It made me feel very relaxed but I would prefer it to be more sedative. Taste was great and so was the cure. I'm sure I'll purchase again.
Good for when it's time to shut the brain off and just chill.
There's nothing sweet or light about Grimmdica. Its aroma reminds me of spinach or seaweed, and also wet soil. It doesn't mess around or coddle you. It punches you in the face with its thick heavy vapor and slams your ass down into your chair because you're a fucking adult and you don't want any special treatment. Stand proud. You've earned your stripes, soldier.
I lean more towards the Indica's plant. I like to feel my smoke. With the Sativa's I don't get anything except good tasteing pot. No affects, nothing. Plus I have PTSD and chronic pain. So the Indica's are my best route. And I must say if your in pain or just need to melt and relax. This little newcomer has ranked up there with me. No pain, just chillin.
