Mendocino Purps reviews
Got a bag of this from Choklit Park recently and oh my god, life-changing stuff.
Been trying to find a new bedtime strain as I deal with chronic pain, migraines, ADHD, autism, the concoction that prevents me from ever having a decent rest. This strain hit me hard, effects were noticable from 5 minutes into a smoke sesh. Feels like someone is giving my scalp, spot between my eyebrows, and my temples a massage that immediately makes me relax. A really nice, euphoric body high that makes it easy for me to melt in bed and go right to sleep, waking up refreshed and ready for the day. I really enjoyed watching hockey games while on this; slows stuff down enough so I can really see how stuff unfolds play-by-play, almost as if it's in slow motion.
I have even used it during the day when I'm having particularly bad pain days. I can get shit done, albeit maybe a bit slower, but it's pain free and I'm chill and happy, so definitely not complaining.
Really awesome stuff.
Form: 27% THC Michigan grown bud.
Consumption route: a freshly cleaned medium size bong.
I LOVE Granddady purp and had heard good things about Mendicino purps but had never seen it before, so I super excited to try it. I got a 1/4 of this at The Dude Abides dispensary in Constantine, MI for $30. Visually, the flower is stunning. Deep green with spots of deep purple with red hairs covered in tricomes that make it look like it has a light snow on it. The smell is PUNGENT and earthy as is the delicious taste. In short, one glance at this $h!t will tell you it's top shelf.
As for the high, this Indica is definitely strong. I suffer from PTSD and bipolar one. The body high is extremely relaxing. As for the head high, I feel relaxed and spacey. I think this strain would work well for insomnia, pain, and mood disorders. I will be buying more Mendocino purps!
Really good strain! Had mine in a cart a market cart tasted a lot like grapes or berry not sure which one and a little spice and a little dank n the tank . probably about 3 or 4 pulls I was ripped wasn't the type where I get lazy but wasn't exactly bouncing off the walls . It was perfect nice and had the giggles helped my appetite kept my anxiety at bay as well .I look forward to trying the flower some day .so yes id buy it again,!!!
One of my top 10 strains. It's a 90s throw back for stoners. It's what the boys from Half Baked would have been ripping. Hit's solid out the gate. Not too hard, but you're going to feel it. Settles fairly quickly into a great body high with lots of giggles. Don't be surprised if you snap out and find you were couch locked for 3 hours or so, with the wrappers for $20 of Taco Bell, a half eaten/melted pint of Phish Food and Funions crumbs all over the coffee table and reruns of Ren and Stimpy playing. You're feeling pretty damn good. Be puffin or be passin.
Really good strain for pain & nausea. My nausea went from a 9 with vomiting to a 1 with no vomit. I cant go out rock climbing or run a marathon but I can comfortably eat some light food, hang out in my house and watch some tv while the laundry is going.
holy sh*t i’m friedddd. holy sh*t.
I have chronic pain and this strain definitely helps with that. If you’re a light smoker I definitely recommend this for the end of the day. Has one of the best smells I’ve ever smelt from flower. Very very stanky and sticky. The good stuff should have purple and green buds with green leafs.
Bought 1/8 of this limited availability special with 10% THC just out of curiosity to see exactly how important of a role THC content plays.
I was very PLEASANTLY surprised that 1/2 of a 0.7 gram joint was just right. Effects weren’t immediate but after a few puffs the first effects began to make themselves known.
For me, this strain provided
1. Relaxation without making me tired, drowsy or couch locked.
2. Calming relief from stress & worry.
3. Pretty dang good pain relief for my arthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic neuralgia.
4. An enjoyable and enlightening session of philosophical but creative thinking.
5. Good relief from my Complex PTSD typical sensory triggers (unexpected sudden noise, high activity environment & crowds or chaos).
A testimony that high THC content is not nearly as important as potent terpenes in the end user satisfaction.
