Mochi reviews
**Strain Review: Mochi (aka Gelato 47, Mochi Gelato) – from Cloud9**
I recently grabbed some **Mochi**—also known as **Gelato 47** or **Mochi Gelato**—from **Cloud9**, and it turned out to be a solid pick. This hybrid strain is well-known for balancing **creativity** with **pain relief**, and it definitely lived up to the hype in terms of effects.
### Effects:
The effects hit smooth and steady. I felt a noticeable boost in **creativity** early on, followed by a mellow **body relaxation** that helped ease tension and minor aches. It's not too sedating, so you can still stay functional and mentally sharp, which makes it great for evening use or laid-back creative sessions.
### Flavor & Aroma:
The flavor was **earthy and starchy**, not overly sweet like some other Gelato cuts. It’s got this unique doughy, herbal note that makes it stand out. If you're into strains with a natural, grounded taste rather than sugary terps, you'll probably appreciate it.
### Bud Structure & Quality:
The buds from Cloud9 were **dense and slightly soft**, which made them easy to break down by hand. Personally, I **wish they were stickier and had more of that frosty THC crystal look**—the kind of sparkle you see on really top-tier flower. That said, the quality was still solid, and the effects were definitely there.
### Final Thoughts:
Mochi has **good effects**, a **unique flavor**, and a **relaxing but creative high**. While I would've liked a bit more stickiness and visible trichome coverage, it still smoked well and did what it was supposed to do.
**All in all, I’d rate it an 8.5/10**.
Definitely worth checking out—especially if you’re into hybrids that won’t couch-lock you but still bring that chill, pain-easing vibe.
Let me tell you—Mochi Gelato is the kind of strain you save for those moments when you want to feel something real. I grabbed it from Pull Up DC on a slow Sunday, hoping for a little inspiration and a lot of comfort—and it did not disappoint.
The first thing you’ll notice is how stunning this bud looks. It’s like a frosted gemstone, packed with purples, greens, and fiery orange hairs. Just looking at it had me excited. The flavor? Sweet, creamy, slightly minty with a subtle earthiness on the exhale. It tastes as rich as it looks.
But the real joy kicks in after the first few hits. Mochi Gelato unlocked a smooth, flowing creativity in me that I hadn’t felt in weeks. I found myself sketching, journaling, and vibing to music like I was in my own studio session. At the same time, there’s this full-bodied relief that creeps in and soothes away every ache, especially in my lower back and shoulders. It’s not a couch-locker unless you go heavy—think of it more like a weighted blanket for your brain.
Whether you’re chasing pain relief or just want to light up and make something beautiful, Pull Up DC’s Mochi Gelato is the one you’ll keep coming back to.
This is like the 4th time I got a hold of this strain. It's consistently reliable and never disappoints me. It's funny because the stuff smelled like minty chocolate but doesn't taste like that. It's a very cerebral high and I definitely don't feel depressed anymore. It also helps me a lot with insomnia. It's got all the traditional Indica characteristics. It's good to go and so am I !!!

Mochi Gummiez kept things simple Soft smoke mild sweetness nothing sharp or loud The doughy flavor stayed light and didnt linger Elevate-la was the source here effects stayed level throughout body felt loose mind stayed clear no spike no drop no need to add more it did exactly what it was supposed to do and stayed out of the way.
This is straight Fire! Makes me nice and relaxed but if I wanna doze off I can and stay alseep for hours, makes me real hungry too. Smells a lot like berry’s and taste like menthol/mint and a hint of berry
Mochi gelato is in my experience a perfect evening strain. I feel like it's one of the best gelatos I've ever had. It leaves you grinning and blissed tf out. I have PTSD and it's excellent, maybe even perfect. I mean god damn. That's all
Enjoyable taste. Sweet but not too sweet. Calming with creative/ focusing side effects. Good for writing or movies. Good for anxiety. 7.5/10
