Northern Lights reviews
Picked up an 1/8th of this from the company called Sunnyside because I'd never after 10yrs of smoking tried the famed Northern Lights and had this on my bucket list. I ended up with smalls in a regular container, nbd, the trim job wasn't the best but the buds were still tight (if not overly dried out....)....I still gave it a chance and lit a bowl of this up, immediately coughed out a lung for about 20 minutes, could not clear the tickle in my throat, chugged a ton of water, ate a spoonful of honey, gargled salt....I was so annoyed until the medicine hit. Wheeeeeeewwww. I had to sit down it was so beautiful. Touching, almost. Suddenly the shit trim job did not matter. At all. Neither did the extremely harsh smoke or coughing fit I had for a long time after. All I knew was I wanted nothing more than to smoke on this strain all day every day. This one sets me right every single time. And it is strong. Would not recommend for a beginner. Just picked up another 1/4 of this the other day, also from Sunnyside, and was extremely pleased to find I'd purchased high quality, dense, BIG nugs, they are so nice & frosty and break down beautifully, best of all they smoke waaaaay better than that first batch and I will say the medicine is STRONG. I had a little joint of these and three hours later I was still riding that high slowly down. Unbelievably nice weed. Hoping I can find it regularly available at my dispo because I do NOT want to miss out on having this in my medicine cabinet at all times. It's just so.....pretty. Beautiful. The experience is majestic. And I never wanna be without it. I can see, fully, why this strain is famed. There's just nothing wrong with it!! I can smoke some 3 hours before bed, have a dance party, clean my room, journal a little, have a snack, then wind down and fall asleep with a soft smile on my face. It's that good and the medicine lasts for so long. Thankful I've got this one around!!
First review Everrr:
For daily smokers: I can see how this strain can be slept on based off smell and taste. It’s an earthy taste but the effects when you smoke your first three pulls starts immediately from the head down.
For first time smokers: Good luck really not a strain to play with when rolled the way you like best but, enjoy the high especially if you plan on taking a nap, or unwinding. Don’t smoke if you’re going to try and be energetic. As an energetic person I rather just relax and not let the high blow off.
AND WITH THE COTTON MOUTH YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET A SAPPY AFTERTASTE, but for the real smokers who know gas. You might like these northern lights. 🌌

A strain that has made me doordash taco bell and has made me so high that watching the eagles football game was kind of hard focusing on what was going on. A great strain to smoke during the evening hours. Im currently high off of this writing this review. It’s such a good strain that it makes me want to write a review about it and i dont do reviews all the time. Its relaxed me enough to the point of relief with my muscles from the
gym. All, and all its a strain i would buy and smoke again but i would recommend ha ing something to drink because it gives you cottonmouth and maybe try to have something readily available to eat because this will give you the munchines BIG TIME! 🤣
I grew an auto of NL and ended up smoking all of it myself lol. Took me about 6 months but after that, I never want to smoke dispensary weed ever again! I pretty much exclusively smoke indicas and typically only smoke at the end of my day to relax. That is exactly what this strain is for. I fell in love with it and I can’t wait to grow another plant to smoke all to myself again.
my uncle has been cloning this strain with his buddy since the 80s or 90s and it's absolutely tremendous. He's going to get the thc % tested soon... This strain, to me, is just a staple of the classic strains that exist. Just a nice mellow high, no anxiety, no paranoia, just vibes. Definitely makes you sink into your couch and not want to do anything. anyway, our haul this summer was almost a pound, 7 plants. now we transition to hydro farm in the house for the winter.
I use this strain for insomnia as well as endometriosis pain. I do find that this strain gives me a headache in my temples but I’m also chronically dehydrated so may just be a really drying strain.
I have a pretty high tolerance and this one makes me feel tingly pretty quick and helps melt some of my pain away.
Much more of a muscles/body high, feels like I’m wearing a weighted blanket in the best way.
Thank you, Creed Bratton! I decided to finally try the “The Office” weed (iykyk). Excellent experience, like an instant wash of calm and peacefulness washed over me. I have PTSD and this really hit the spot in terms of allowing me to relax and “sedate” my mind. 10/10. Unfortunately it can be a bit tough to find in my area, but it is my all-time favourite.
I love this strain so much, man. I’ve only been smoking for about 5 years but this one I have to keep coming back to. Makes me feel so high but so chill about it at the same time. If I’m busy and being productive, it amplifies that. If I’m relaxing and watching a movie, I get couch locked and really hungry. I would recommend this in flower or concentrate form alike for anyone, beginner or lifelong stoner. Northern Lights is a classic for a good reason, it’s just amazing weed.
