I finally grabbed some Moxie to try after everything yesterday. It was MUCH needed. The taste reminds me a little bit of casey jones, the effects are so motivating the world looks so bright.
I was able to completely deep clean my house in a matter of an hour. It's not an overwhelming sativa so give it a try.
I will hold onto it as long as I can it's so good!
Holy Sativa Batman! So I know there’s quite a few of us that reach for a coffee or an energy drink to start our morning. Give…give this one a try instead. (Insert nascar engine noises.) this one will wake your ass up and then some. Literally dry herb vaped about a half gram of this AMAZING strain and I was flying thru the clouds and dancing to the rhythm of the earth. Literally can feel the bass drums in your chest. If you are near a dispensary that carries UpNorth Humboldt, keep an eye out for this one. This is a winner!! Very strong (I’m high typing this by the way) euphoric head buzz that radiates down the backs of your legs and makes your feet feel electric. Literally a pre workout type feeling but amplified greatly. I typically stick to my sedating indicas but wow this sativa found a special place in my toolbox!
Flavor profile on this one’s a winner too. Spicy citrusy clean feeling in the mouth. Kinda like the orange flavored toothpaste. What’s unique about this one is the flower is SUPER loud like you can smell a cracked jar a few feet away in seconds of opening the jar but the vapor has very little weed smell to it. Very good discrete daytime use strain. The flower is a badass fluffy covered in a nice frosty glaze sprinkled with the most radical red ever!! Definitely lives up to the hype. UpNorth Humboldts box says 39% THC so it’s strong. But rise up to the challenge! Do not fear. This one’s gonna blow your mind!
Not usually big on Sativas. I love them for their unique flavor profiles, terps, smells etc. the high is usually amazing the first joint or bong rip but for me usually comes w a crash and weed hangover side effects(green crack is the worse). That prevent them from being an all day smoke for me. Red Congolese on the other hand is different. No weed hangover. Complete mental clarity and focus in a way that’s hard to describe and unexpected. Especially for a sativa. Tried Red Congolese from The Congo Club based out in Oakland most recently. It’s the only strain this brand grows I believe and it shows. It has a strong cheese/ skunk/ pine that reminds me of Jack strains. Smell for me 5/5 and smell and taste are the most important me. The taste was fresh and reminiscence of smells 4/5. The high is so clear, yet still very strong. It’s different different. Smoke allot for like 10 years now. And haven’t had a strain noticeable melt my stress away and give me so much bliss. High 5/5. Got this strain years ago randomly in an Old Pal sativa 1/8th. The strain was always random. N remember it being some of the best smoke I ever had. And this time cemented it. Prob my fav strain🙏🏿
Marijuana like any other medications can not make the physical or mental problems go away. Sometimes the best you can do is manage it as well as possible. I was in San Francisco and I grabbed some Marshmallows with this strain. These were small batch candies that were delicious. I don't like Sativas at all .. well I though this was an indica when I bought it. I was having a horrible time. I went to go make peace with a family member and it did not work. So I tried to enjoy the city for what is has. Walking, lifting, sitting, all that constant movement hurts!!
I'm on prescription fibromyalgia meds and they still did not help. I started eating the box of ten 5 MG edibles very quickly. I took a train to Berkley and came back. All though my body and mind were a mess I reached a point of medicated where for maybe an hour all was ok. No emotional disturbance, the physical pain was not an issue it just existed with me it was not in my space of being. After this I bought a few more boxes
The high is clear and clean. I was intoxicated for sure. I was in a frame of mind where stumbling and not walking a straight line was not the biggest deal. I could talk process thoughts and come off as a "normal person" it was not the most relaxed high. No heady tired indica at all. A mind invigorating and stimulating strain. Emotions came and went and were not the worst. The strain is certainly try for a long period as a daytime pain and physiological medication. I search for indica that help with muscle and calm the mind. So this was a great experience. Finding that maybe all the time do I need the smack in the head indica that I use. I need heavily sedating Indicas. So this was just a different strain from other sativas. NO PARANOIA! And sometimes sativas do that to me. I get all heady and start processing what I should probably just leave alone.

My reviews are not that typical but I hope they help someone because medical marijuana need to be taken seriously as a medication. And it's all so confusing sometimes if your really trying to find a real MEDICATION. It's wonderful sometimes and scary and bad other times. That's the way most psychological medication work they are not nice always the side effects suck. And lots of marijuanas side effects are not the most present but they certainly less than most nasty meds and I need to take those as well.
Great stuff, will definitely get this again, Love it. Nice uplifting yet still able to stay focused and it is long lasting. I like anything that makes you euphoric, but don't make you tired. Instead is makes you feel more of a clear focused euphoric feeling and uplifted and not tired. Great for day time use and if you're a night owl like me, than it's great for night time use as well. I love the long lasting effect of this one too.
Beautiful strain for joy and happiness. My favourite: 5/5 every time.
had a few times...love all marjuana ,but not a true sativa guy
this pure sativa I Definitely IN MY TOP 5
There is absolutely no question that there are two very distinct varieties of Red Congo. It is not even an argument but rather a documented fact. I have submitted a photo of the African landrace variety.
To be fair, there should be two completely unique categories for this name. You can't even put them in the same group, as they are so unique and unalike.
Developed and grown to perfection this fair red lady was recently produced by temple of calyx, a Canadian consortium of master growers. As you can see, it clearly contains zero indica and is as true a sativa as it gets. The potency soars in this one, promising close to 30% thc.
The scent, while deceptively familiar, is a true delicacy for the experienced connoisseur. The end flav is actually completely unlike the scent she gives off. This is no Mexican red hair, nor is it a bred result to achieve a specific trait; but rather an exotic sativa the likes of which many will never know as red Congo, as the more common variety can hardly be cross referenced with the African landrace for any other reason than perhaps fragrance.
The good news is, this variety being so whispy and red, you would have a very hard time confusing one with the other. What I have noticed is, that most strains our southern USA friends have often appear to be the hybrid, sadly one of the key problems with a name is that it rarely tells us much about the strains true history and actual status in the world today.
The African variety could easily be dismissed as a very average, typical mild sativa from yesteryear, but in fact, it is a gem that without knowing someone who's actually got the real deal, is often very rare to find. It reminds me of the memorable, blow your socks off sativas we found back in the early 80s when premium landrace still dominated the high end market.
Look for this one at your favorite Canadian supplier. Most recently spotted in Van and Ontario, I was lucky enough to get some and cherish every puff.
