The Soap reviews
This is a sativa even an indica lover will like. Must be those golden genetics! It's a great daytime smoke, that for me, starts out more of a 50/50 hybrid type smoke, the energy/vibe slowly building up to full blown sativa, but without any anxiety. Laser focus, a relaxed energy, can take on tasks without stress. I stay away from sativa's because they just don't do it for me recreationally, I am a more kick back and binge watch type smoker, but I always keep a sativa on hand when I need shit done AND be high doing it. Like Jack or Durban...tried this cause Kush Mints being a fave, and so is Animal Mints. This is most energetic KM cross I've tried yet. Minimal body high, all cerebral....and groinal 😎💨
Got a 1/2 of The Soap by Plant Nerds at Sunset Coast Cannabis in Cassopolis, Michigan today and smoked it through a freshly cleaned bong for this review. It says it's 27.8% THC. The buds are dense, medium green with many orange hairs and a layer of tricomes. As far as smell and taste go, the name "Soap" is very appropriate. It has an unusual floral smell (that's VERY loud) and taste with a slight, but very distinctive "soapy" aftertaste/smell. The taste isn't "bad" but it's my least favorite as far as weed "flavors" though. As far as effects go, although this strain is Sativa leaning, the Sativa effects are not overwhelming. I'm definitely feeling a head high, but I'm also very relaxed. I'd say that the Soap is a good afternoon/evening strain. The only negative effect is cotton mouth. I highly recommend having ice water nearby. The Soap is not one of my favorite strains, but I'd consider buying it again.
So I picked up a half ounce of The Soap back at the beginning of June. Right off the bat, it smelled exactly like the classic bar soap smell and (unfortunately) it also tasted like bar soap. The soap taste is so strong that I had to rinse my mouth out and brush my teeth and tongue to get rid of it, it really sticks to your palette. But the buzz was incredible, it's a very stony yet also uplifting and clear-headed sativa buzz. I theorized that if I let The Soap mellow out for awhile maybe the soap taste would go away, so I put this jar at the back of my cabinet and didn't touch it for a month. When I opened the jar a month later, the soap smell was gone and it was replaced by a strong smell of incense and spices (which I attribute to the linalool backing off and letting the caryophyllene really come forward in the terp mix). And it tasted the same, too - the soap taste was gone and instead it has this delectable spicy/peppery taste that lightly burns my tongue in the right way, this is the first time I've encountered incense terps and I am a fan. And the buzz is still strong and clear, just a very nice sativa buzz that could become racy if you went too hard with The Soap. This might be TMI but I'm a healthy 42 year-old man and this strain is quite arousing for me, it usually hits me an hour later. The Soap is a winner!
I tried The Soap for the first time time tonight I threw about 2gs in a blunt I had picked an 1/8 of it up from a local dispensary that morning, it felt like I was floating through chores, no pain, just chill vibes, felt very relaxed and creative, I just wanted to be productive when I smoked, but not in an overwhelming way, I guess depending on your use to some it would help with adhd it calms the mind to the point of clarity it’s a very nice high and a gassy skunk hit leaving an sour diesely taste in the back of the pallet. If you want a bud that is “work weed” or not a couch lock starin I’d recommend I’d also recommend getting if you just wanted to chill out or need to focus/ concentrate 🤷🏻♀️
The soap man no one has been buying this strain at my dispensary. The taste reminds me of another great strain short bread it's a cookie strain and I don't believe Leafly doesn't have a cookie tab for flavor tab . This is has a sativa feel to the buzz real heady and it's a great tasting strain taste like cookies and dank to me
Both the flavor and the effects are fairly understated, but not in a bad way. This is a pretty gentle strain. Might be a really good introduction strain for new users. Smell, Taste and Ride are all on the mellow/mild end. Really good for social situations. Slight body tingle.
24 dollar eighths at Reverie 73 are definitely the way to get into the Thanksgiving spirit! A smashing combo of lime and sage hit the nose with nutty undertones. The taste is more nutty and lavender-like. The effects were splendid: a burst of focus and energy to start followed by a soothing weighted blanket relaxation after about an hour or so. The chill factor on this strain is *chef's kiss* bomb. I didn't find the strain overly arousing compared to what other users have said, but it certainly didn't detract from a zesty session with the wife. I would recommend this strain!
Want your partner to be more domestic? Try Soap.........the strain, that is.
Soap provides you with a face heavy, cerebral high that is actually energetic rather than stony
My lady hit this a couple of times and she's cooked breakfast, did laundry, mopped the whole house, vacuumed, raked pine needles, you name it. She's even cleaning the corners of the rooms with a wet wipe. I'm a little uncomfortable if I'm honest.
It's a home economics course in a joint. Give it a try. Journey well, all.
