As an old stoner w arthritis, I had High hopes for this strain. I assumed from the lineage that Cornbread was a heavy hitting kush. Well, it’s kush- mellow, pain relieving, relaxation… but it was Not incredibly potent (esp rated at 34%), and although some of its effects did linger, the benefits for me were short lived. Sry, wish I could say more nice things, but it’s just a notch above average… (esp compared to the source strains)
Love this strain! I'm in it these days for help with anxiety and horrible insomnia. Sometimes finding that perfect addition for rotation can be hard with so many different crosses. Corn Bread checks my two requirements, very relaxing, high potency that's a slow roll.
I like this strain and it is interesting to say the least. Tastes good, very smooth, subtle, and a great high. I bought this weed for a nightcapper and it delivered. Great REM sleep. My only knock on it is that it finished a little harsh on the throat and I could feel it the next day. It is smooth but it finishes a little harsh which is why I labeled it as interesting. That could be the grower or the strain itself. A good go to for sleep.
