Buds didn't stand out to me at all, messy green nugs. Smell is quite weak, levander-ish, can't really point out anything else. Tastes sweeter and better than it smells, burns really nicely, has some THC to it, probably around 20-21%. Effects for me seem to be quite balanced between sativa and indica. Innitially I feel more talkative and creative, then relaxed and munchy. It is not a bad strain at all, but compared to the hundreds of strains that I have smoked, definitely not a top tier 5 star strain.

Working as Terp Hogz, the growers Fields and Tony Mendo popularized Z with the help of 3rd Gen Family's Brandon Parker—growing the strain, entering it into contests, and making new crosses. The Original Z won 1st Place at the 2016 Emerald Cup, the 2023 King of Z Hill, and has placed in several Cannabis Cups in San Francisco and Michigan. Both Terp Hogz and 3rd Gen Fam—as well as other breeders—continue to refine the varietal. In 2023, Terp Hogz announced they will use the name "The Original Z," as part of a settlement with a candy company over alleged trademark infringement. This strain features medium-sized, spongy green colas that with a sweet, tropical blend of fruit flavors. The effects of The Original Z are calming, leaving consumers focused, alert, and happy while relaxing the body to help unwind any time of day.

My niece introduced me to this strain on Thanksgiving of 2019 & wow, it knocked my socks off! Nice euphoric boost that gives you nothing but smiles and giggles & shortly after that, an extreme case of the munchies. The high lasts a good 4-6 hours & ends with either a nap or a good night's sleep. It's the best medicine for my PTSD, anxiety & medication resistant depression.
Great I got the Original z vap and it’s good the flavor is great a light but every distinctive taste like grape also, it hits very smooth and the high is very relaxing and it takes my back pain away
first experience of a top shelf strain wouldn't say its the nicest out there after trying more but the grape flavour was so unique and tasty. it helped me regulate my bipolar disorder and also when I consumed more It helped me sleep which not many strains do. recommend highly
