The 2016 games in Rio are upon us; the opening ceremonies begin on Friday, August 5th, at 4:00 p.m. PT, with the whole world tuning in to watch the festivities unfold. Over the next few weeks, athletes from around the globe will battle it out in events ranging from trampoline and taekwondo to diving and decathlon.
In our opinion, some of these sports are better than others for elevated viewing. Some you’ll see in Rio – like synchronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics – while others are a little more esoteric (see: dog surfing). Have you checked any of these out?
