The first state to legalize medical cannabis, California has a long history of perfecting its market and the products it offers
. Now, recreational weed is also available, amping up its already thriving cannabis culture.
That said, dispensaries won’t be found in every nook and cranny of the state. From March 2018, the Sacramento Bee reported
that 40% of the state is still 60 miles from the closest dispensary. Part of the reason for this is that some communities have chosen to ban cannabis sales
. For those cannabis consumers making California their new home, it will pay to do a little research beforehand to make sure you live within range of a dispensary.
However, like most things in California, the cannabis is not known affordability. When recreational dispensaries first opened, consumers found themselves contending with steep costs. Fortunately, that trend is moving; based on the sales of other states that have legalized recreationally, analysists expect the costs of cannabis to begin to decline Find California cannabis on the way
