Meet your new favorite workday waker & baker: pair with your morning beverage of choice and take a couple puffs then - ta da! - you are ready for whatever the day's gonna throw at you. This stuff really helps me get focused and stay engaged with even the most boring of work assignments and household tasks. Answer a bunch of emails? Sure! Wash a sink's worth of dirty dishes? Of course! It cuts through my anxiety like a hot knife through a block of cold butter and fills up my patience reservoir to the tip-top. Bonus: if you have any other what I like to call good-day-sunshine sativas (your Durban Poisons, your limonene lovies, etc.) laying about, sprinkle a bit into some Rollins for a lil' kick - tap the gas, 'cause, why tap the brake? Oh, in terms of dosing, etc. I twist up about 5 joints from an eighth and that'll get me from Monday to Friday. Sometimes I'll smoke an entire one in the AM, other times I'll save the second half for afternoon tea, if you will.

A great place in general and especially for dispensary newbies: I have accompanied a few friends to BPG on their first times buying legal cannabis and just have been really impressed with how welcoming the budtenders are.

Don’t be fooled by the small, unassuming storefront - this place is well fucking stocked. A ton of carts, tho I was mostly shopping for edibles - scored 2 Kushy Punch Private Reserve for $27 which, holy crap that’s a deep discount. Budtenders were attentive yet laid-back - def didn’t feel rushed as I took in the huge selection.

Compact yet comfortable space. An employee was walking by as I browsed the menu (which was well-organized - always a plus for me, a librarian) and stopped to ask if I needed assistance then made some preroll suggestions for what my partner and I were looking for. (“So we’re going to Joshua Tree for our honeymoon - can you recommend something for communing with nature/fucking our brains out?”) Bonus: I received a free 10mg gummy as a first-time customer.

The take-a-number system was a bit confusing but the budtender who rang me up was super nice and knowledgeable - I hadn’t heard of a bunch of the pre-roll strains so the recs I got were much-appreciated.

Popped in while visiting family to get some stocking stuffers. (For them AND me, tbqh - the holidays are better high.) Not the biggest selection but solid options available AND there’s a sale section. Oh and they have a loyalty program - I’m not local so probs won’t use a lot but seems like a sweet deal.

My dad’s dispensary of choice is now a fave of mine too. Friendly and approachable staff, excellent selection - I usually get edibles and pre-rolls. Small space but be patient - the store is expanding!
