This is my #1 top favorite strain and I am an “experienced” consumer. Tried lots of strains that I had high hopes for but ended up putting me over the edge with paranoia, anxiety, racing heart, all that other junk. But this A&B is different. I purchase my A&B from VidaCann (now known as Planet 13). I only use distillate vapes or distillate oil as an edible. Their website claims it is a cross between Platinum Cookies, Granddaddy Purp, Blue Power and Gelatti. It’s classified as an indica leaning hybrid, but I feel personally that it is quite balanced. I don’t feel like going to the gym after using this strain, but I definitely don’t feel sleepy either. It’s not the *best* strain for work related focus, but it doesn’t make me feel too out of it to not focus on work. It REALLY helps with creativity though! This is my favorite strain to smoke/eat and then just write for hours. Helps with stress, definitely helps with depression too. I do get hungry, but not really *too* hungry unless I take an edible lol. I am content just snacking on some fresh fruit and really savoring the flavors. Typically, the only time I get too high with this strain is when I take it as an edible (I put the distillate into a capsule and eat it). *To clarify: it is not the strain’s fault that I am getting too high, I just sometimes put too much in there lol. A short grain of rice sized amount is good.* Even when I DO get too high with this strain, it doesn’t make me feel like I am dying like some other strains have made me feel before. It doesn’t make me feel paranoid, maybe a little bit anxious, but it’s easy to steer my headspace into knowing it is just the physiological effects of the cannabis. With other strains, it is a lot more difficult. Even though this strain can be a bit strong, I highly recommend it to anybody who is interested in trying. If you are a beginner, maybe take it easy and don’t smoke a whole joint. You don’t need a lot. Take your time and you will really really enjoy the effects of it.
