Blueberry reviews
This review is for a cross called “Blueberry Revenge.” Grown by Decibel Gardens out of Santa Cruz, CA. Indoor grown. VERY high quality buds that literally glisten in the sunlight like looking thru a kaleidoscope. Very tight and dense nugs. Dark green with these wild pops of purple and some of the most gorgeous orange pistils flying all over the place. If you have seen TRUE Red Congolese you know what I am talking about when it comes to those orange/ red pistils.
Tested right at 29.97%. Really this is on the higher side of acceptability for me. Anything higher percentage than this is kinda imbalanced and rather bland. The real ones know that terp % is what really matters. I would guess this one is in the 4.5-5.5% terp range. Standout one for me and yes I can literally taste the difference in terps, is myrcene. Myrcene is fun! This is where indicas get that couch lock. I wager this strain was probably 1-2% myrcene. It will knock you out hard.
Flavor: oh man… straight out blueberry poptart mixed with a perfect amount of gas/ chem profile for the ole razzle dazzle!
I’ve never had any sort of issues with Decibel Gardens. You guys do a fantastic job providing the world a much needed service of providing REAL medicine that delivers REAL results.
Picked up a gram from Amsterdam. Below is a full breakdown:
-- The flavor --
It has a slight sourish flavor, it wasn't harsh and rich.
-- The Effects --
I felt this is strain took a bit longer to kick in. When it did, I felt a sense of Calm and relax. My body felt glued down/heavy. I found focus to be hard as I would just watch and not process. Felt tingly feelings around my body and managed to sleep a lot earlier. I usually sleep 1am. I fell asleep at 10;30pm.
--Negatives--
On the come upI felt a strong sense of dizzyness. For me this can be annoying. It lasted around 40mins or so before that effect dropped and I could enjoy the rest.
Overall, I would give it a 3/4 out of 5.
If you are a light smoker and do not smoke regulaury this can be a bit stronger and cause a dizzy feeling. However it did send me to sleep (which I needed) and made me relaxed.
Let me tell you—Blueberry is the comfort strain I didn’t know I needed. I picked this up from Pull Up DC, and as always, they put me on to something perfect. From the very first hit, I could taste that sweet blueberry flavor, like someone dropped fresh fruit in my grinder. But the real magic? It’s how this strain slowly eases you into a blanket of calm without knocking you out cold.
I use cannabis mostly for stress and body aches, and Blueberry came through like a warm hug. My shoulders loosened up, my back stopped screaming, and mentally, I felt this calm, content buzz that stuck around for hours. It’s one of those highs that creeps up softly, clears the mental noise, and just lets you be. No racing thoughts, no tension—just peace.
This is definitely one I’d keep in rotation for evenings or slow weekends when I want to relax without getting completely couch-locked. If you’re in the DMV and you’re dealing with pain or burnout, go grab some from Pull Up DC. They’re always stocked with the good stuff—and Blueberry? Certified mood-fixer.
I got a half oz. of some nice Blueberry in Michigan, pretty sure it's the famous Colorado cut from the 90's. Basically there are two big cuts of Blueberry: the original DJ Short Blueberry and the 90's Colorado cut. The original cut is light blue/aquamarine in color and the Colorado cut is a light olive green color, which is what I've got. 27.5% test. The nose is strong and straightforward: blueberry with strong notes of champagne. Under the magnifying glass I see the most thorough trichome coverage I've ever seen, even up close it also looks like it was coated with liquid trichomes. When it burns, it smells exactly like blueberry muffins coming out of the oven, and let me tell you about the buzz: this is by far the strongest and purest indica experience I've ever had (and it doesn't take much). With no sort of head change this blueberry starts working on my body immediately, beginning with a nice floaty feeling that intensifies into a total relaxation of all the muscle groups; at first you move like Gumby, then you don't move at all and get intensely slumped. Over the course of several hours, the buzz morphs and changes on me; sometimes it's like I'm floating, sometimes it's like gravity is pulling me down into the earth, and there's lots of tingling and muscle relaxation along the way. After a couple hours I become like that sloth who takes two hours to cross the street, movement was never such a big deal. I've never had an indica experience like that of Blueberry, my only warning is do not smoke this strain unless you plan on laying down and doing nothing for a couple hours before you fall asleep and have some of the best sleep of your life. Well-grown Blueberry is incredibly strong and potent. This is the ultimate example of a night time indica, it has no cerebral effect so I like to combine it with an indica hybrid like Runtz and these are by far the most potent night time joints I've ever rolled.
I bought flower from Grow Healthy. THC 26% Terps 1.64%. Myrcene was dominant with pinene and caryophyllene a distant second and third respectively. This suddenly became available so I wanted to try it because it is one parent of Blue Dream, a personal fave which I haven't seen for years
The buds were typical for Grow Healthy, spongey, average size, sticky when broken up for a grinder. The arome was rather bland, not strong and did not remind me of the blueberries I eat almost every day
I was mostly disappointed. No matter how much I smoked I didn't get much relief. I got high, but not very. It didn't make me sleepy (not that I need help), I went through my day as usual. After a couple of days I relegated the remainder to smoking in the evening only when I'm not feeling as anxious. It didn't help much with depression either
To put it in context, I have been using Dream Queen (Blue Dream X Space Queen @Trulieve) to great effect for awhile now, but like most strains it's not always available so I'm always looking
I really really love this strain. i got this strain initially for recreational use but after using it once i realized this was a very beneficial strain to promote sleep and rest. i use this now for sleep exclusively and it works really well. the high starts off with full body relaxation and quickly travels to behind your eyes, making you feel like you need to close them and give into to the full body relaxation. soon you’ll be drifting off to a deep sleep. i also noticed that this strain helps with Phantom Limb Pain as well as nerve pain. it doesn’t take away the pain completely, but it nulls the pain and gives you a little relief when i need it the most. i tried to smoke this in the day time and ended up eating way too much and taking too long of a nap. beware!
I wouldn't suggest this when you have anything to do, but if you need to relax and just shut off for awhile this is what you need
tastes like a froyo shop 😍😍😍
