Gelonade strain reviews(195)
Overall: 6.7/10 — B / B-
Appearance:
Green buds with orange specks and the occasional hint of purple. Tight structure with visible trichomes and overall very good bag appeal.
7.5/10
Aroma:
Mild but pleasant — slightly sweet and spicy with a bit of pine and light gassy notes. Not super loud, but nice when you lean in.
7/10
Texture / Cure:
Not too dry and not too wet. Dense buds that broke away from the stem fairly easily and were pretty easy to roll. Solid cure overall.
7/10
Smoothness:
Decently smooth, nothing harsh but not ultra-silky either. Easy enough to smoke without killing your throat.
6.5/10
Flavor:
Spicy and piney up front, with a little gas and occasional hints of sweetness. Flavor’s there, just not very strong or complex.
6/10
Effects:
Very calming, gentle but definitely noticeable high. Perception felt a bit blurry and wobbly in a good, relaxed way. More chill than heavy.
7.5/10
Mood & Experience:
Great time smoking with friends — lots of conversation and laughs. When alone, it’s relaxing and still keeps you fairly focused.
7/10
Negatives:
Main downside is potency. Just not quite as strong as I’d personally want.
Final Thoughts:
Overall a really enjoyable, easygoing strain. Nothing flashy, but consistent and pleasant across the board. I do wish it hit a little harder, but I could definitely see this being a solid daily smoke that doesn’t leave you too cooked. Good balance for social sessions or casual solo chilling.
I just got in on my prescription from craft botanics in the UK, and I am blown away.
I have tried a good few strains on uk medical, but this one is probably the best yet.
I took a chance with it being lower THC than I normally have at 25%, but I'm definitely glad I did.
I'll start with the smell, and taste.
Proper lemon skunk, I dont really need to say anymore, if you have had it you know.
The effects are a clean but heavy sativa with a good body buzz. No paranoia, very uplifting.
I normally lean towards indica strains, because I dont feel sativa strains effect me much, but this one really gets me, and it's a beautiful flower.
I really wish I could give this strain a higher rating, but it really made me anxious when I smoked it. I’m usually more of an indica person with a few exceptions, but more sativas have slowly become more enjoyable to me.. This one is not. Racing thoughts and overall I just felt uncomfortable lol even at small doses. It bums me out because it smells and tastes AMAZING, though. Creamy citrusy fruity smell with a very slight hint of gas. Such a shame. If you like strong sativas and this terpene profile, though, you’ll most likely LOVE this one.
