Romulan reviews
strong earthy berry spice haze flavor from the flowers. a mix of lavendar sweet pine floral spice notes. high is amazing a very uplifting indica feels like a decemt hybrid that leans towards the heavier side. leaves a lasting sweet floral pine aroma. very intoxicating and euphoric.
I hadn't heard of this strain, but bought it anyway out of curiosity. Took the equivalent of around 25-30 mg of THC from an Aeriz FHSO dablicator. Three hours later, the effects were nice and mellow but unremarkable. Then at hour #4, the "treacherous" Romulan kicked in with a vengeance. Rather cerebral for an indica: the typical indica relaxation with a generous share of visionary effects that reminded me of more powerful "entheogens". Sleep however, was so-so that night, perhaps because of the somewhat high dose. Having read a few non-stellar reviews of this strain, I believe that I was lucky to get a good batch - or others got bad batches. Anyway, whatever my single experience is worth, I highly recommend Romulan.
Good old fashioned hit over the head with a hippopotamus and layed the f out narcotic indica. Skunk piss on a rotten tree taste, creeps up and lays me out for the night, smoking at 3 am is bliss. Reminds me of Bubba, less euphoric. If you like Indicas, it's a must try. I am an indica snob, meaning I simply don't get a thing out of pure sativas. I love indica hybrids, and pure pure Indicas, even many sativa hybrids. I loved Romulan.

Ok so. Romulan was one of my first favorite strains, but you know how that goes... many of my early faves ended up not being so amazing, it was just the best of the four I had tried. 😂
I was stoked to try it again and see if it fell by the wayside like others (sorry Salmon River!). Holy bananas!! It was so much better than I remembered. Damn.
It makes you marshmallow melt into the couch, bed, whatever, and really does help with pain, nausea, and anxiety. This is a face melter. Head high is intense... another reviewer said that the world may disappear for an hour, and that sounds about right... the lady friend and I smoked a gram and then watched Room... we sat nearly silent, completely engrossed. I sobbed like a baby at the end of the movie, I was soooo into it. Then, zzzzzzzz.
Fucking Romulan. So, so good.
"Beware Romulans baring gifts." - holy christ this stuff put me down a wormhole, across the Neutral Zone, with photon torpedo's locked on me set to obliterate.
Okay - Nerdy Star Trek refs aside this is a massively heavy hitter. Packed a bowl last night, and enjoyed the creamy smooth smoke, which gave way to an intense cerebral high, followed by total body relaxation and being locked to the chair I was sitting in on my deck. Finally got it together to pull myself off and go to sleep in a state of content relaxation. Was completely unconscious until my dog brought me back to earth having to go out at 6am, but for a few hours I boldly went where no human has gone before.
Strong fast pain relief! Watch out- phasers on stun, seriously. It hit my head fast and hard. Brilliantly stupid and almost too dizzy to explain it back to myself right away. Eased slowly into body melting spacey-ness and the urge to nap. Turned out pretty good for music, and sex too. Needless to say, I went back for more.
I knew I wanted it as soon as he opened the jar and the reek of sharp, fruity Parmesan quickly filled the room. I hadn't even seen the sticky, frosted, perfectly formed buds yet. Vapour tasted like but was much smoother than the smell, and was a bit minty.
Bottom line-Fast relief if you don't have to be even a bit functional, and likely too strong for novices.

Comes on like a sledgehammer to the head. Big, weighty physical feeling around the head. Vision is nicely brightened with good vibrancy and wide focus - almost like looking through a wide-angled lens. Headspace is focused and energized. There’s a clarity, ability to function, and think clearly simultaneous to a somewhat tamped down mental capacity. You feel minorly lobotomized, but the serene, happy mood and pleasurably relaxed body doesn’t make you really mind. It feels a bit like a ride; fun and carefree - but cushioned. Music slips in and resides in you, making you feel so in tune, it’s as though you’re playing the instrument. Experiencing it feels like mom’s cooking - so good you just want to sleep in it. Nice degrees of euphoria keeps everything rosy and feeling good. Watching stuff is just as thrilling. Easy to follow, even fast paced, but a short enough attention span keeps everything enthralling. Reminds me of SFV OG in a similarly cozy, gone way. The peak of the high feels surprisingly short, but that's likely more to do with how old my herb was.
Ok....I got bored of smoking the same old same old ( homegrown Northern Lights in this case)
Went to the local dispensary to buy something different.
After a brief consultation, he sold me an eighth of Romulan by Palmetto.
"Get all your shit done before you try this," he says.
He was right.
Waited until my day was done, loaded up the mini bong with some flower and ten minutes later I'm really starting to feel it.
After a while, even TV seemed like to much of a chore to follow, so I lay down.
Got super relaxed but not really drowsy, just thinking cool thopughts and wishing theyd had this strain available like this 40 years ago.
Finally fell asleep and slept so well.
Woke up refreshed and went upon my day.
