Wedding Cake reviews
So,
I'm trying WC from a different method. Instead of emptying the joint into my bowl, I grown this one up myself and it was CAKEY! Needed to grab one of those plaquers, you know, whith this toothpick you can break off? Yeah... needed THAT bad boy to clear the herb grinder... and those nugs were a bit white, almost like they were frost tipped, so I knew it would be STICKY! And these nugs were primo... not the trim! I ground about 3/4 of my big boy bowl (1 step up from a generic bowl). The hits are a bit sweet, almost like drinking some hot sweet tea (I'm Texan, and I can't tell you enough why this dropped the review to a 4... TLDR it's supposed to be ICED!), but that doesn't mean that won't work for you, so take my pettiness with a grain of salt. BEYOND THAT! SMOOTH draw... absolutely smooth draw, barely any cough at all! Just an overall good experience on the smoke itself. I PREFER more of that Beta-Caryophylene peppery hit in the draw, but that's a ME thing.
THE HIGH ITSELF! This is a wonderful strain. Where it lacks for me on the flavor, it MORE than makes up for in the ride (though the coughs are coming an bit late now). The ride is JUST as smooth as the smoke! I tend to have a mild breakdown when I hit a little too much sativa, but there's not much of that kush rush... just a smooth, head high all around! VERY relaxing head high! As is the body high! It's not terribly velcroe-y. But it IS more on the intense relaxation side of things. This is probably a glass of wine in the late evening types/bedtime brew for the newcomers type of strains. It gives off wrapping yourself in your warmest jamies on the couch under you BEST blankey with the cat puring in your lap while you CRUSH a slice of some wedding cake next to a raging fire that your just built for your new wife on the 4th night of your honey moon vibes. And YES! The cat DOES go on the honey moon with you love birds. :D
I'ma go lie down now...
it was one of those days where everything felt too loud—my brain, the group chat, even the birds. so i decided i needed a reset. hit up PullUpDeliveries (as always—shoutout to them for never letting me down), and within the hour, i had some fresh Wedding Cake in hand.
i’d been saving this one for a day when my mind just wouldn’t quit, and yeah… today was that day. rolled up half a joint and sat on the back steps right as the sun started doing that golden thing it does.
first few hits in and everything softened. my shoulders un-crunched. my jaw unclenched. my brain? finally stopped scrolling. the breeze felt like it was personally checking in on me.
i stared at this one squirrel for way too long. pretty sure we understood each other on a deep level.
then came the munchies. hadn’t eaten all day, and suddenly i was inspired. grilled cheese masterpiece happened. 3 cheeses. toasted perfectly. i almost cried.
Wedding Cake is that kind of strain—it sneaks up soft but hits heavy if you're not ready. so maybe take it slow, especially if you're not used to high THC. but for stress? pain? mental fog? it’s a whole vibe.
and yeah, major thanks to PullUpDeliveries for always coming through. y’all are the real MVPs.

After smoking this strain we became inseparable. This wedding cake strain is forever once you try it, you have tied the knot. It has a ball and chain on me for eternity. I love her, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Everyday I smoke her, it’s like a constant honey moon. She is all mine, go get your own!
I’ve tried different brands of Wedding Cake and they are all different. It really does depend on the grow and how well it’s cured. I love Triangle Kush and Animal mints. I remember getting a really good batch grown by Curio, at least 2 maybe 3 years ago and I loved it. The high creeped and when it hit I felt so good. After that I only saw it in hybrids. Finally Belushi’s farm grew it and I absolutely loved it, I think it was Birthday Cake x Cherry Pie though. The high was a nice all over body high, I felt relaxed and happy. Took my chronic pain down and no anxiety.
Now only Fade co is growing it, the terps were low, no taste or smell and I didn’t feel high barely at all. Fade Co, 2-3 years ago was fantastic, I have the packages from when they first came to MD. Their terps were all above 2 percent some above 3 percent. Not anymore, I’m so sad and disappointed that Fade Co is no longer growing the same great buds. They don’t focus on the terps at all!
Hoping Wedding Cake comes back to MD. I can find it in vape, can’t find the flower.

Wedding Cake settles without noise There wasnt a rush or a buildup just a quiet shift where everything felt more manageable the effect stayed smooth and controlled easing tension without dragging energy down attention didnt scatter and the body stayed comfortable instead of heavy a mild sweetness showed up briefly then faded out of focus at some point it crossed my mind that this was the Wedding Cake I’d noticed on Elevate-la but it didnt register as important the experience stayed steady and unforced the kind that lets the evening move along without needing anything extra.
Calm settled in quietly, more like easing into a comfortable space than flipping a switch The flavor stayed soft and rounded never sharp and the smoke felt smooth enough to ignore after each pull effects leaned toward relaxation without turning heavy letting the body loosen while the mind stayed present this cut connected with Elevate-la carried a composed comforting tone that didnt push or pull too hard everything felt measured and steady making it easy to stay in the moment without drifting or feeling weighed down
My body reacts poorly to sativas and even a hybrid that has too much sativa presence can be problematic. Many indicas are problematic for me for other reasons — tinnitus and numbskullitis among them. Wedding Cake hits a sweet spot for me. I get unquestionable symptom relief with few undesirable side effects. It doesn’t set my nerves on edge and it doesn’t instantly couch lock me. It feels good and elevates my mood to the point that my chronic condition doesn’t bother me as much. It’s all I could ask for out of a strain and in fact, I was very close to reluctantly giving up the hunt when I found it. My only beef with it is the munchies. The munchies are hard to deal with, but of all of the side effects that a strain of weed can have it is perhaps the easiest for me to deal with… still, the munchies are strong with this one, and if you regulate what and how much you eat, it can be painful.
I've been trying out strains as a newbie for the past 2 months and Wedding Cake is so far easily my favorite. I did a live resin vape and it hits really nice! Though can be a bit on the harsher end and tbh there's not much of that advertised flavor. Effects take it over the top though - Perfect for ANY time though if you're using it for sleep those effects will kick in the latest.
I guess the best way to describe it is a indica-leaning hybrid but that you can actually get stuff done with.
