We grew several plants of this strain and noticed 2 distinct varieties, the bud/leaf ratio (and color) is different between these 2. This impacted flavor somewhat, however the smell and effects seem to be consistent for all the bud.. W.D is definitely an evening strain but it wasn't as narcotic/ sleep inducing for me as I've heard other report.. I can smoke it midday, while working and not have it destroy my motivation like other heavy Indica strains. The high is like a warm hug, comes on slow ("creeps"), it also made for a great evening tincture. The buds have a citrus (and slight cheese) aroma but the taste is very hard to describe, its definitely unique to W.D. I find this to be a great strain for unwinding at the end of the day but not one that will incapacitate me.. would recommend if asked
