Dem Purps
7/28/2016
The Purps strain is a Sativa dominant weed that was created in Canada by careful selection of the best qualities of the well-known strain, Mendocino Purps from the Mendocino Valley in northern California. The quality of this weed can be gauged from its two placings in the highly competitive Sativa section of the High Times Cannabis Cup; it took third place in both 2007 and 2009. It was also chosen by Danny Danko in his ‘High Times Field Guide to Cannabis Strains’ as one of the top 10 Canadian strains of all time.
The weed has a pungent aroma with notes of freshly dug earth, fruit and hash while the flavor is surprisingly sweet; you’ll be reminded of purple grapes and sugary spice. After a couple of tokes, a soaring high comes on quickly, stimulating the mind. Medically, this weed is recommended for stress and muscular pain.
The Purps seeds produce plants that grow to between 100 and 120 centimetres indoors and display only a few side stems which have a high bud to leaf ratio. As the plants grow, the dark green leaves and buds become increasingly purple and THC content in the final product ranges between 16 to 18 percent.
Indoors, The Purps seeds can be grown with SOG or alternatively you can use the low stress training method. Careful trimming can increase yields and flowering time is from seven to nine weeks. Yields are around 350 grams per square metre.
It is quite robust and can be grown outdoors in temperate northern areas. The plant can stretch quite a lot in the open so it may need support as it grows. Harvest time is in the second half of October and each plant should produce 100 to 125 grams.
In terms of production, The Purps strain is not the most prolific of strains. But what you do get is a connoisseur standard crop with a delicious grape flavour and a potent high.

If-n your lucky enough, to obtain a fresh cured cut, of this strain, it has a pungent dank about it. Hit is smooth. Youll feal this one in the ol chest. Really feel it in the eyes. And the temples. This strain makes me cut up with sarcastic jokes. Hell................It made me get off my lazy ass and write this review. So there must be some magic in this shit. There you have it ladies and gents. If you want good long lasting , good tasting, impressive ie. ( lots of fuzz).
Blackberry Cobbler Purple

This strain is good. I've had better, of course, but still delivers a good high. The color of my phenotype was dark with purple. I'm pretty sure its a hybrid cause of the purple.
I can imagine this strain being outdoor quality. However, If you can get this strain indoor or hydro, Go for it.
Smell upon opening jar is some sort of berry fruit w/ a little dankness. The "berry" stands out.
Pretty smooth smoke flavor , however this bud leaves more to be desired in taste.

Not the strongest in the cupboard, but the flavor is intense. Like the same intensity as Sour D. Macro shots of this strain show areas of purple and total coverage of frost. When I first got this strain, It slammed my eye's shut and kicked me back. I'm used to it a couple of days in.
I hear this has the Purple Kush and Mazar I Sharif for parents. I hardly ever get to smoke any solid indicia's. Mostly hybrids and Sativa's.
If you get a chance to get this one, try it through the table-top vaporizer's. The flav. is so intense. Flowery and Piney.

Ok .... I know what your thinking." this nigga just gave a 5 star rating, he must not smoke that much good. Now !!!!! I'm here to tell you that "I'm am higher than giraffe pussy on this 16th day of July in the year of or great lord 2015. I may live in East Tex. but my sources attain from Colo. and San Fran.
Anyway , all around this bud is for you. Dense nugs , Smell that lets you know why they call it "Blue Dream". The rather large bag I may or may not have gotten was vacuumed sealed and when I cracked open the sealed freshness released a puff of wonderful molecules that stuck to the septum in my nostrils. YEEEEEEEP !!!!! I'll take that one please kind sir. Oh yea !!! Back to the bud.

Elvis

Elvis provides buds that are oval-shaped, have incredible density and a lot of mass. The buds have incredibly short pistils and a large layering of frosty and sticky trichomes. It's not uncommon to see 1/2 ounce buds regularly with this strain. The breeder used an AK47 female to breed with a male The Pure, which is a phenotype of Skunk #1. Flavors include fresh berries with a distinct skunk aftertaste. In 9 - 10 weeks of flowering Elvis will provide a below average to average yield, while ranging in height indoors 3 to 4 feet. Outdoors these ladies can reach up to 6 feet tall and provide 2 ounces per plant. It's recommended to vegetate these ladies at least a month in order to gain the biggest yield possible. Eighths of Elvis have been requiring a $50 donation at most dispensaries
